Normally won't travel during peak period, but last Friday a heavy rain near KL cause me to stuck in traffic jam.

Furthermore, last Friday is a long weekend friday, super congested in KL...   

So, finally have chance to try the traffic from KL city center to Semenyih during peak hour, plus long weekend Friday and raining...      The route chosen is KL - Cheras - Kajang - Semenyih

Fetch my taling around dataran merdeka around 6.26 pm....   

Finally I reach Semenyih Lekas exit at around 7.36pm, which is about 16km away from Sungai Long junction...

This final stretch consists of smooth traffic indeed...   

Total time taken is 1 hour 10 minutes.... Friday evening with following Monday public holiday plus raining...

For me, it's a quite reasonable time...   

Oic.. further up till wangsa maju... which route you taking? MRR2?

Brw, seem like the linear park is open for public as well. From the booklet is seem to be inside the precicnt 1 housing area... Not sure how they going to do it. From the pic shared by sam kor, can see the walking path being build... I scared the linear park is just beside the fencing and inside the waterway... That is bad coz just too near to outsider.... Privacy wise is no good. What u guys think (especially the DSL buyers)?

hi Jen1, I din really wanted to buy 1 for investment. I was surprised there were still a lot available when I came to the sale's gallery's abt 10in the morning last saturday. I realised that u may hve to hold for a few yesrs if u plan to flip after completion. rental return may be poor as SEH still new.I hve bought a semi d previously for own stay.For investment......is still high risk...imo.

I am a bit concerned also that more units are available now. I am buying because I have dreams that my kids will be able to have good results and qualify to enter Nottingham U nearby. In case they don't, I will have to sell. Meanwhile tenants are welcome to stay in my brand new house when ready, hehe...

Many folks may complain 1 hr is far. They should ask those who stay in ss2 and work in golden triangle kl how long does it take for them to go home or come to office during peak hour

From my perception, there is unlikely to have a traffic light there, just for the sake for the convenience of Tiara south but SEH/EM/SEH 2 residents need to suffer. Overall, the land for thant junction is belong to SEH I presume. It's 2 lanes each bypass and so awkward to have a traffic light there, just for the sake of 200 houses. 

Personally I think for the Tiara South resident, they can enter to the housing state directly when back from KL. If want to head to KL, they need to enter the Ecohill link from the other roundabout, which is near to the Ecohill Welcome Center / the new 20 x 70 DSL houses currently.
