Hey guys the Nokia Lumia 735 just launched today, from what i see at Lazada. Anyone have comment on that phone? Need advise here because I plan to buy it for my brother. Is this a real improvement?

Actually, Storekini opened up for pre-orders 2 weeks ago (i think) and their offer is really very hard to resist if you're looking for a new affordable smartphone.

For RM999, you get the device itself, a Coloud Knock headphone, 26mAH powerbank and you only need to top up RM100.00 for that wireless charging pad (the original price is RM269).

If you paid RM99 during the pre-order and opted for self-collection when the the device is available for delivery, you get a free Concerto speaker as well.

I think you should go check it out at Nokia stores yourself because honestly, dropping by a Nokia forum where most of the Nokia fans are, the reviews will be a bit biased. You'll never really find a honest review unless it's from yourself.

However, from what has been placed on the spec sheet and taking into consideration the price of the device, i think it should perform but don't expect iPhone kinda quality output. The one thing that I think they should have released instead of a "dual-sim" alternative is maybe a higher MP rear camera. That way, consumers may be able to choose between "selfies" or "general photography".

If you are talking about software, WP8.1 is a very impressive improvement over the past WPs and you are expected to be surprised when you use it (if you were on WP7 before). If you have not used a WP phone before then WP8.1 will give you a great experience.

Nothing much to shout about the hardware actually, Snapdragon 400 with 1GB RAM is the bare minimum of what smartphones nowadays would have unless you are talking about high ends which you'll see Snapdragon 800 with 2GB RAM.
