QUOTE(victorywp @ Jan 13 2015, 03:35 PM) if your transaction was less than rm50, you don't even get a transaction count. lol... It was more than RM500. Lol... I lost 9 counts ans got only 1 count. Anyway, no big deal la. Still can easily fulfill the 9 counts.or maybe you get to delay your payment (but is compared against using cash only) because all cc also has that function. |

Shoooooot!! I think I missed the January's rebate! Just checked HLB online and found that my transactions are not posted! Anyone use PayOnline on or after 27th Jan? Any problem?
These are the transactions I have done: 27th Jan : Made 3 transactions via MaxisPay Online using Wise card > Received confirmation email on 27th > All 3 transactions posted on 27th. 27th Jan : Made 5 TNB transactions via UOB PayOnline using Wise card > Received confirmation email on 27th > NONE transactions posted til today. 27th Jan : Made 1 HLB Life Insurance via UOB PayOnline using RHB VS card > Received confirmation email on 28th > NONE transactions posted til today. 27th Jan : Made another 5 TNB transactions via UOB PayOnline using Wise card > Received confirmation email on 28th > NONE transactions posted til today. All transactions are done between 5:30am to 8:00am. My all previous transactions never faced this issue. Referring to the 3rd and 4th items, also wonder why I only receive the confirmation one day later while 1st and 2nd received on the same day. Notice the inconsistency there. And the worst part is I missed the rebate as a whole! UPDATE: Just checked TNB online and found that all the payments are not updated on TNB website, so I supposed the transactions never gone through. But how come I received the Approved email from PayOnline. Dang....... This post has been edited by hkboey: Feb 3 2015, 06:04 AM |

QUOTE(smartly @ Feb 3 2015, 10:25 AM) Sigh. Let it be then. Life goes on. QUOTE(sam240 @ Feb 3 2015, 03:00 PM) How can I know the merchant that I swiped consider under 10% list? If u r talking about AEON at QB basement then confirm it's Grocery but if ground floor then should be Department. I'm asking AEON in ground floor at Queensbay mall, any idea? QUOTE(99etaber @ Feb 3 2015, 03:20 PM) Hello guys, I swiped 2 trnx on 29thJan both above Rm50 and both in CB category. It was posted on 2nd Feb. My understanding that the CB will be in Feb calculation but what about the 10x rm50 trnx? Both CB and 10x are accountable for Feb month. |

QUOTE(ronnie @ Feb 3 2015, 05:03 PM) My TNB billing date is 25th/26th so i can't pay any earlier. Another alternative is to pay later in the following month. QUOTE(supersound @ Feb 3 2015, 05:34 PM) Do you know that out of a month, the last 1 week HLB has the most technical issues? No I don't agree. For many months I never have any issues with HLB for transactions on the last week of the month. If u read my case properly, u would notice it's most likely PayOnline screwed up the transactions. If it was HLB problem, then why RHB transaction also never captured? For me, to avoid this problem, I always complete the quota by 3rd week of the month. |

How about Sunshine Square (Bayan Baru)? Sorry to ask this, really confuse how to check whether is department or grocery. |

QUOTE(supersound @ Feb 3 2015, 08:57 PM) Billing date comes late is not a problem as you can do the calculation manually. You can do advance payment which gives you more control on getting the max cash back. You can never manually calculate to get the exact amount. You never know when TNB come to check meter. Also, Payonline will have problem on the end of month, either RHB or HLB is the culprit. |

QUOTE(supersound @ Feb 3 2015, 09:11 PM) Always take the monthly average and pay extra That is because your consumption is on average +-rm20 every month but mine can be as low as rm500 or as high rm3200. So ur assumption is not a smart move in mine.My TNB until today always rm-20. This -rm20 will be used to offset the additional power used. And I see u always highlight 8.25% "actual" cash back which is not actual at all. Please don't confuse anymore new user as you have just confused one. #1 not every is using gold. #2 not everyone will use more than one year. If use one year or less then cancel, cashback is still 10% or may be even more. |

QUOTE(Tigerr @ Feb 3 2015, 09:54 PM) TNB come late also never mind mah. U can always go ahead n pay first. If u spent 850 already n nearing the cut off date. U can go and pay TNB 150 whether u receive bill or not. Like that u ll ngam ngam 1000. Then save the card for next billing cycle lor. Yes, Agree with you. That's what I plan to do, pay in the following calendar month.TNB bill can delay by 1 month pay also no problem mah. If can, go pay in advance the phone bill to make it up to 1000. Or got spare money, u can go supermarket buy something n stock up. Myself more easy to make the 1000 threshold because I got to buy milk powder n pampers. The wise card sure not enough n need few more other cards to maximize the rebates I can get. QUOTE(supersound @ Feb 3 2015, 10:00 PM) By reading your reply, you are telling me that your meter you can't read it, only the TNB meter reader can read it with their "special" gadget Wow!!! You are such a genius!!!! The "special" gadget is called riser key! Have ever heard of that?? I'm sure you do as you are genius! Again, if your bill is at rm3200, is better to use other cash back or points card to pay the balance rm2200. But, yup, almost forgot, you can't take the meter reading your self Indeed you are right, as some people prefer to hold platinum card rather than gold card, just to show off. My calculation is based on cheapskate's gold card and being charged rm210 from 2nd year onward. I'm not fond of every month go to the management fill up the form, request for riser key and take the reading and manually calculate then when bill come I have to pay the balance or must remember I have overpaid as excess and whatsoever! Do you have a problem with THAT???? Dont be smart to discuss my paying behaviour and take all the assumption like everyone else in the world are doing things like you genius do. My earlier post are merely discussing UOB Payonline issue and raising awareness so that other user could be aware of it then you come and taking pple's spending and paying behaviour in your own hand. |

QUOTE(victorywp @ Feb 3 2015, 09:51 PM) this is the reason why you shouldn't always say 8.25% cb. you are just making simple things become more complicated and confusing new users. Lol.. We both pointed out some genius's self assumption almost the same time. Genius doesn't like to do 1+1=2. He likes 1.25-2.13+0.89×2-3+6-4.78=2you must remember: 1) not everyone is using hlb gold with rm160 af (so 8.25% is not a standard for all) 2) af only start charging from 2nd year onwards (so those who only use for 1 year will not face this issue) Oops.... did I count wrongly? My bad.. I'm not genius |

QUOTE(aeiou228 @ Feb 4 2015, 01:03 PM) Sorry, have to correct you. Not all of us, most forumers here are wise enough to use Wise card. Don't know why you hate this card so much and keep condemning Wise card as a stupid card and the card made you look stupid when buying groceries. QUOTE(victorywp @ Feb 4 2015, 01:54 PM) most probably because he will look stupid separating his grocery items purchase into >rm50 each time... in front of cashier. I think THAT "genius" is the only one holding the card and claim himself as stupid. What a stupid! |

QUOTE(supersound @ Feb 5 2015, 09:58 PM) Yes, you are right, I'm wrong. That's why you missed the cash back while I'm getting the cash back. I never say I am wise although you ASSUMED I am. Lol!!Now this is the catch, I'm stupid but getting cash back while you are wise but losing cash back. So, in actual who is wise and who is stupid So getting cashback suddenly make you become wise??? Another LOL!!! In actual??? I might not wise enough but sorry I have to say you are definitely stupid as you yourself have said that many times. |

QUOTE(Tigerr @ Feb 8 2015, 09:47 AM) Cool bro. Thought u said many people has reported such case n it with so many reported cases n we still continue to use the uob payonline in such a manner, like the 10th transaction on vety last minute n if it happen again, want to blame who? The card is yours, the pattern or way of usage is your devision, n most Important, the money is yours. I said many ppl reported and confirmed such a problem exist AFTER I raised the payonline concern here, and NOT that after ppl reported this and I continue to use the system. Plz get the fact right. |

QUOTE(supersound @ Feb 8 2015, 11:42 AM) For a third party system like UOB payonline to fail, the fault are not by them no matter what happens. You could be right IF all the pple reported here are only HLB BUT I have used both HLB and RHB on the same day and both failed. And on top of that, I have called up BOTH HLB and RHB asking about the transactions, the both bank also say they have no records about the transaction. There is no attempt and no request of payment at all. So now the problem can only fall back to UOB Payonline. All the time the fault is from card issuing bank. |
