QUOTE(leongsem @ Mar 13 2016, 09:40 PM) you should up to 4-64 camera is much more better right? Yes, I know I should have. I am a strong advocate of buying the best I can afford as most devices are outdated the moment they hit the market. But then I don't have deep pocket and so I bought what I need not what I want. Moreover Mate 8 with 3Gb is no sloth and storage is not an issue with expandable external SDHC. Yes, the camera is much better than Mate 7. Version 6 Marshmellow has been strongly overlaid by EMUI 4 and so don't really know the difference from version 5. This post has been edited by Crystal2: Mar 20 2016, 10:35 AM

QUOTE(annoymous1234 @ Mar 27 2016, 08:22 PM) Camera much better as in? Shutter speed? I think the camera in Mate 8 is much better in all aspects than its predecessor but then individual perception can be very subjective. So I suggest you try it out yourself at Huawei outlets. Read the comments from other users at: https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3790947/+1400The camera could also seem better because of the wide gamut screen, read about it at: http://club.vmall.my/forum.php?mod=viewthr...&extra=page%3D1

So far been owned mate 7 and mate 8.
I would definitely say little improvement compare these two flagship. If you wanted larger capacity like 64gb, I would say it worth to change.
Ideally for me I always store too many video and anime, feeling with 32gb not able sustain for me that why I changing into mate 8. Some more the quick charger really superb fast charging which take around 2 hour and 30 minutes up to 100% battery.

QUOTE(leongsem @ Apr 15 2016, 09:04 AM) Besides being cheaper, It's better the devil you know than the angel you don't know. Used Mate 7 before so I know what to expect. Battery life is of utmost importance.

QUOTE(leongsem @ May 4 2016, 06:51 PM) thanks uncle, need to press power plus volumn button? No need. You can directly do it from settings app on the Mate 7 . Mate 8 you cannot and need to switch off and use the power n vol buttons to do it
