QUOTE(chungdavi @ Aug 4 2015, 02:15 PM) I think right now the download speed is quite slow from Microsoft, it's only around half the speed I'm getting compared to when I downloaded during midnight 2 days ago. Brilliant will try this method with my Mac OS tonight. Thanks, mate.I got careless though, just created a bootable USB drive without making a backup of the ISO file, and my Win10 failed to load up after I updated my graphic card driver. I then realized I created the bootable drive for BIOS format instead of UEFI which my laptop is using. Now I have to re-download the ISO file again. I found a useful guide, which said you can use non-Windows OS, or use your mobile phone to access the link below: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 And instead of redirecting you to the link to download media creation tool, you can actually select Windows 10 version and 32, 64bit version ISO file to download directly from Microsoft server. In that case, you can use download manager to download, instead of through the Media Creation Tool. Read the link below for detailed info: http://www.askvg.com/tip-get-direct-downlo...from-microsoft/ Edit: There are a few editions to download. Windows 10, Windows 10 KN, Windows 10 N, and Windows 10 Single Language. I'm eligible for Windows 10 Pro, so which edition should I choose? Oh my gosh, Windows 10 is seriously doing a damage on my bandwith, managed to get everything downloaded, failed at installing due to some first boot error, then returned me back to Windows 8.1 Pro, then needed to download the whole installer again! Wow, just wow. It's such a hassle.

Went through a troublesome process. Windows 10 activation is pretty gruesome. Just did a clean install on top of my upgrade from 8.1 Pro to Windows 10 Pro previously. Keys were blocked, and had to settle through the toll-free line.

QUOTE(chiahau @ Oct 15 2015, 11:31 AM) Side note : How do you do that? If you're using a legit Windows 8.1 product key? You should be eligible for the upgrade to Windows 10. Download it at Microsoft.com (Media Creation Tool 32/64 bit Windows 10).I've recently installed windows 8,1 on my new system. Already ran windows 8,1 update to the latest version. What should I do to upgrade to windows 10? Download the ISO myself and upgrade? |

Updated. But nothing much to comment. Just visually, everything seems blue compared to a darker theme previously. It acts the same as it was. Good OS, but just seems heavy.
