End of Student Status. The DreamSpark Direct Subscription is a special offering for students. Once you no longer qualify for the DreamSpark Direct Subscription (due to graduation or otherwise no longer meeting the definition of "you" above), your DreamSpark Direct Subscription will terminate; however, you may continue to use the software you obtained prior to termination of your student status subject to the terms of this agreement.

The 192.168.0.1 is default gateway to router. It can be change to something else. Can you ping back the router? I suggest you bring this topic up to networking sub forum. Better response there

I tend to get BSOD in Windows 8.1 often. I thought my laptop was the problem that I nearly decided to buy a new one. It was pretty new though, less than one year. But after I upgraded to Windows 10, I never get any up until now 4 months I think, bugs aside, It's still a good OS. But I'm still into Aero glass XD
