My car got hit my cement lorry and the driver irresponsibly run away. We in the opposite direction of the turn and his back bang my tail light and got little scratches. Due to busy road I move my car to make the traffic flow smoother before I got the chance to take his contact/number plate. I don't have his plate number only his company name. I reported to the police and the inspector say he can't help me.

This happen on Saturday so I can't contact the company. If I contact the cement lorry company now will they entertaint me and honor my claim or they won't due to lack of proof?

I been in accident before, usually people stop and discuss, never been in accident that someone just cabut like that
