saigetsu Sigh, it's very unfortunate that I have to ask this question. Here goes.

I got hit at the side (both doors kemek and one quite bad, both cannot be opened or locked anymore). The culprit was making a turn but he/she overturned and hit me. I can't get off the car and there's a car behind me. The car stopped at the rear for a bit but sped off.

No car plate, no nothing.

Based on the damage, it should amount to 4-5k (I think). So I'm gonna make a claim.

My questions are : -

1. If I make a claim, will my NCD be affected?
2. I only have 1 car, since your first post says that it's faster to claim as OD kfk, should I?
3. How do I know which shop to go for? Do I just go to a shop authorized by my insurance?
4. Do I still need to report pulis?

THANKS!!!!! and be safe everyone!

Yes

not applicable to your case, since you have no details of third party to blame on. In this case, you are claiming own damage only. (OD). So in term of speed (approval by insurance for workshop to repair the car) is faster relative to OD KFK.
3. How do I know which shop to go for? Do I just go to a shop authorized by my insurance?
Only authorised by your insurance. check website, or call lor. Notify your insurance ASAP.
4. Do I still need to report pulis?
Yes ASAP within 24 hours.

Kesian bro. Sabar la ye
