a motorcyclist hit my car. probably due to my fault. i'm not sure but he's now claiming at my insurance.
as a result i lose my ncd
since i'm losing my ncd anyway, i might as well claim too for my car dmg.
i didnt claim/notify the insurance company earlier cause was waiting for the motorcyclist to claim first
or the police "keputusan" on whether i'm at fault...

till now i still dun have the "keputusan" from the police and the motorcyclist oredi claim

can i still claim for my car dmg part?
cause the insurance company asked me why i didnt notify them within that 7days period...

hmm...it's not fair that the motorcyclist can claim after a month....but i must claim within the 7days?
i heard from my fren, they can even claim within 6years?!

I’ve PM you yesterday on my Mazda CX-5 which was involved in a minor accident. A car bang me from the rear when My car was stationery at a traffic light.

I went to the Mazda Service Centre for the OD-KFK claim. I was told by Mazda even though I wanted to claim on my insurance first, I still have to provide the “keputusan” and etc from the police b4 they can proceed with the claim. Is that correct? Then, there’s no point doing the claim since I still have to wait a few weeks for the report? From my reading of your post, ODKFK is supposed to be less hassle.

Any advise would be appreciated.

how bout i did a all procedure of accdent case but ehe car / SUV alrdy langgar lari and i didnt know his vehicle plate no.

can possible do anything? claim insrance? summon?

TQ for the wonderful post. OD-KFK. If my car is parked at a legal parking box and another car knocks it, then runs away. Unknown offender plate number. I report to Police. Any way to claim OD-KFK since faulting party cannot be traced? TQ.

I bang people car last month and that car who kena bang doesnt stop and run away.... (dont ask me why... i also dont knw)

So i claimed my own insurance and the car still in repairing now....

Hence, am I able to claim the loss of use from my own insurance? (Premium insurance)

but  can i ask have somebody ever claim towing fee direct with TAKAFUL MALAYSIA? i got the reply from takaful malaysia that asking me to liaise directly with workshop on towing reimbursement . but the problem is i paid cash by myself. i dont trust with the workshop because they act  slow and no fast respond taken even called has made/ text. any similiar case for my reference. if reimbursement thru the workshop is no hassle free . the money with go thru they account .....tq.

Not hit and run situation, is on the spot either you bang people or people bang you.
Is it 100% unclaimable from insurance since is consider private compound?

Hi boss, wta did I do any mistake. A car reverse into me just now causing damage to my car. There came these toll truck runner on the motorcycle. He say just let him do everything from police report right up to the repairs. It was my first time having accident, is it ok I trust this guy completely???

He told me I don't have to spend anything, everything will claim from the guy who bang me? My car is a perodua he said will replace everything with original parts?

Should I trust him or go get back my car???

2. Got bang at the passengger side by a motorcycle that run a red light.
3. Motorcyclist didnt drop single blood but we insisted to the ambulance to take him to hospital for further check up.. later that day found that the motorcyclist never went to the hospital.
4. Motorcyclist doesnt have license. Motorcycle got roadtax.
5. Car make police report. Motorcyclist didnt make police report.

Question.

1. Can car claim from motorcycle insurance?
2. How long aio will wait for the other part to make report?
3. If car claim own damage ncd will be burn?
4. Can motorcylist claim medicall bill if he didnt make police report.

My bro's car kena bang by an old car. the car hit and run, luckily he managed to get the plate number. Upon checking, no roadtax no insurance... Police told him they cannot do anything until the guy come report police.

Question, can we do anything? Will reporting to JPJ make any difference?

Years ago Hit by a lorry and the driver dunwan go police station with me and run away... In the end i pulak kena fork out own money fix my car...

If you follow another thread a lot of poster will "claim" the police  will "hunt down" the culprit... but ofcourse reality is you are out of luck. If you are really pissed off, you can always initiate a civil suit...

I read somewhere they just cover the medical bill. Not the cost for car repair.
