And also I wasnt sure what I was getting myself into and tried to google if anyone has done it before and point me in the right direction with no luck. so I decided to make it somewhat a tutorial as well juz in case you awesome guys/gals in lyn were getting bored of the red/blue/green.
So here goes. First it was opening the front case. It wasnt too difficult, removing the 2pin which provides power for the front case leds. then unscrew them screws on the hinges.

on the back, just remove all the screws, including the side ones that are holding the hinges in place. even the sides where there are screws holes for hinges if you do so choose to swap sides. those hold the backplate to the front as well.

so this is the front case stripped up. i was..... expecting more. well, as you can see it is pretty simple. juz 2 strips of leds with 4 leds each, conneting to 2 tiny circuit boards which directs power to the led strip both ways.

so hooking the wires to a molex is pretty simple. Juz cut the wires off from the leds. make sure the wires coming out from the circuit boards are longer as you'll be crimping the wire to connect them to female molex. like so.

i got the female molex side from an old modular psu, but i'm sure you can get one from anywhere. there is a 2pin power that connects to the led which lights the bitfenix logo, i juz remove that and remove the white sticker behind the bitfenix logo. no worries its translucent and the light from the led strips will be shone through the logo which looks pretty cool. so connect the led strips molex to the molex which is now connected to the circuit board. its pretty simple.
I decided to use the bitfenix alchemist led as they are quite bright and since the front case is frosted translucent plastic it does need something quite bright to lit them nicely.

its 30 cm long with 15 leds on each strip. i was quite worried about the power limit the circuit board can take as its a huge jump from 2 strips of 4 led to 4 strips of 15 leds. but i decided to go ahead anyway and try.
so a test run to make sure the wires are connected properly and that current is running.

so after a while of arranging the led strips and a huge amount of wires, i used cable tape and hot glue to hold down the wires and molex.

since i juz moved home i decided to update the hardware in my desktop too. so heres juz for show
