Foreign Players in Malaysia

Hey I live in Malaysia but I have an American passport, am i still able to participate in competitions for warcraft 3? I got level 48 on Battlenet 1v1.. so I know how to play and stuff, I just wasnt sure if i need to have a malaysian passport

it depends on tourneys
some tourneys allows only malaysians for entry like WCG others might not, ask the tournament coordinator for more info if they allow or not |

Usually they stated it in the tournament regulations. Most national tournament like WCG are only open to Malaysians. |

is this place usually the best place to find advertisement for tournaments? I live in kuala lumpur and the only tournament i heard about this year was wcg so far.. maybe there are some more out of town |
