I don't think they can afford to launch any other country with China. Stock won't be enough to go around

Had the chance to play around with my friend 6 Plus, so decided to get the 6 instead. The 6 plus is freakin huge for me.
This should come in handy later http://www.macrumors.com/2014/10/01/apple-...tion-lock-tool/ This post has been edited by frozzbyte: Oct 2 2014, 02:20 PM |

I think this is the only iPhone that I don't give a damn when it's releasing, not like 5s. Already hold a 6 Plus and think it's too big. The hardware difference between those 2 are negligible, might as well get the 6.

QUOTE(attw @ Oct 8 2014, 03:18 PM) For me, it's totally opposite. I've not felt this much excitement about an iPhone release since iPhone 4. Got frustrated with the battery life on the 5 and eventually moved to Android for the bigger screen and bigger battery, but never stopped missing iOS. Now waiting for 6 Plus to happily move back to Apple I'm using both iOS and Android at the same time so I don't miss any of the platform. I don't need another big phone while have to lug another phone in the same pocket, hence the choice with iPhone 6. 4.7" is just enough for me for a phone. Any task that need extra large screen real estate, I'll just use my iPad Air. |

Deep in our heart, we still think like those PC times where specs means everything. Most of us hope that iPhones will have higher clock speed and higher RAM so can catch up with our Android counterpart (not not be ridicule by them for having a measly specs) but time and time again Apple proves that specs is not the main issue.
You can have 64Gb RAM or 3Ghz clock speed but if it's not optimized, it does not mean sh*t. Just look at Android, with all those high end specs, over time it will get some lag. Why iOS is at advantage over Android? Because software and hardware are made by the same company, so they can optimize the software to the hardware to it's maximum potential. Yes iOS 8 is not polished as we expect it to be (it still feel in beta state), give them some time to optimize it. Some of the quirks with iOS 8 might not come from iOS but from apps that not yet updated to be compatible with iOS 8. If it still going downhill with every update iteration, then there's something wrong going on in Apple. IMHO, iOS 8 still buggy because they had opened up the system more to developers than before, so they might be in uncharted waters. Last time they have complete control over the system but now developers can have more access to it so some hiccups might rise up. That's just my 2 cents |
