The people are purposely in the pic to people enjoying life and waiting for the world to pass by instead of the usual busy fast world. My camera I think is 13 megapixel.

My sunset: I think a lot could be done to save the image before going for a new camera. Fill flash, reflector, exposure stacking, shoot in lower ISO are just some of the first stuff that came to mind.

For most folks, photography is just about capturing the memories. So happens I just came across these phone snaps from a couple years back. Not the best sharpness, dynamic range and so on but it does the "capture memory" part well enough for me. IMG_0614 by vmwt, on Flickr IMG_0619 by vmwt, on Flickr

A not bad picture imo, but I do feel that the camera limits the picture a little. Forgive me for editing your picture but the picture looks quite flat and lack of saturation or punch. I boosted the saturation and did a horizontal wide crop to remove empty spaces on the top and bottom part, hopefully it looks better. wut Also the picture might looks better when taken with a better camera to provide wider dynamic range ( the couples and foreground are quite dark as they are backlighting to pulling up the shadow to reveal more details about them might result better looking image). Just my opinions

Is it something that have to go along with photography hobby? I was thinking that the ancient ppl who uses the film camera doesn't have access to editing the photo. Maybe it is now digital age and requirements and expectations are different? Seems a lot to learn in editing like a whole 3 year university course lol

Seems a lot to learn in editing like a whole 3 year university course lol It's not a must, but always no harm to learn Editing/ PostProcessing can improve your picture most of the time, a simple contrast/tone changing will result a very different photograph. You can start learning easily at home since there's so many tutorials out there that covers a lot of information, you can use programs that come with your camera (for example DPP for Canon, LR for Samsung). If you don't have any of them , maybe you can download Lightroom for trial (1 month) then decide to purchase the program or not after the trial expires. Hope this helps

Just ignore the fella who said too much noise and need better camera. That's not even a proper advice.
Your photos looks fine, it's not noisy.
Your idea is there but what you need to pic up is some composition and post-processing skill, that takes time.
Just keep on taking more pictures and you'll improve. Explore the failures of your past photos and work step by step.
