We are seeking a leader with proven track record in marketing, branding and operations to build and lead a successful OnePlus team in Malaysia.
You will act as our our company ambassador, product and brand evangelist, and the main contact point for the customers in Malaysia. The right candidate will have in-depth knowledge on the social and cultural dynamics of local market and possess the ability to see issues before they arise. In this position, you will also serve as a knowledge resource for the latest trends and consumer technologies in Malaysia.
Responsibilities
Be the face of OnePlus Malaysia, lead and engage our Malaysian community, represent and grow our brand.
Listen to Malaysian customers; ensure the highest standards of service and product support are met.
Build a local team of function specific experts to grow OnePlus Malaysia operations
Establish and sustain relationships with media in Malaysia, assist with planning and organizing events.
Supervise and provide effective guidance on creating localized contents for marketing.
Find unique local avenues through which to spread awareness about the OnePlus brand and products.
Create monthly and quarterly reports outlining operations, finance, and marketing activities.
Align local activities and collaborate with departments at our home office (marketing, logistics, etc.) and local partners to coordinate smooth daily operations in Malaysia.
Report directly to OnePlus HQ in Shenzhen.
Drive customer loyalty through deep insights into local customer interactions
Requirements
Fluent in English & Malay or Chinese. Intimate understanding of Malaysia’s unique geographies and cultures.
Degree from a top school, PMP certification preferred.
5+ years of general management experience working for a tier-1 company.
Deep understanding of operations, finance, marketing, and logistics.
Expertise/Experience in: e-commerce, logistics, customer service, marketing, mobile products.
Proven leader with vision, resourcefulness, intellect, and humility.
Tech enthusiast, intimately familiar with mobile trends, industry and competitive dynamics.
Strong analytical ability; data-driven approach to understanding and solving problems.
Entrepreneurial mindset, independent thinker, can manage multiple tasks at one time effectively under stress.
Have a proven ability to establish rapport, credibility and influence others to drive results
