My iPod Nano fell twice already while trying to put it in my pocket cause it slipped, luckily still working fine or else...

I never fell my ipod but hope this won't happen to me because warranty is expired already.

Nano is flash memory based, so it can still survive some fall. You can try it with HDD based iPod, i can bet it wont go more than 5 times. My first pod died 3 days after it fell from table, it's in a pouch, no cosmetic damage tou.

i voted lots of times already..hahah~ my shuffle already got scratches and dents...btw, my ipod vid is still okay even it dropped few times oredi..

Dropped my iPod Video 30GB once when my Senn HD555 cable got caught in my chair. Luckily the iPod landed on my foot. It's protected with a silicone case, so no worries!

2, 3 times up to now if I can remember. When it drops... owww your heart pains...

lots of times already.. thankfully protected by leather case.. so still look n function like new..

Most of all are with cases, mine is simply nthg ..

Ipod Mini. Since the day i bought till now i have dropped it like 5 times..

I am using iPod mini. And it's already fell many, many times. Still working okay for me .

mine never fell before..
i think because i always hold it very TIGHT when handling it.. too scared to drop it.

emmm my fren ipod fell 1 time on the spot die than he take out the hard drive n format it the hard drive work fine maybe the board is out

My ipod fell mutiple times but it still functions properly.

One incident that hurts me the most is, I put my iPod in my water resistant bag and I did not twist my bottle properly. So my iPod was drench and it died on me. I changed my harddisk and I do not know what else. Cost me USD150. I was sad, and refuse to buy a new one because it is an U2 ipod.

Moral of the story is, do not mix electronic with water. If it did, do not try to on your ipod instantly. Wait for a couple of weeks before switching it back on.

i want to have an ipod but no money.

my nano had fell for twice and its equal that my heart fell for twice.but still works find for me tho

Nano is quite durable because it has no moving particles like hard disk, those who own video iPod or hard disk based iPods are more open to danger, it may survive from several falls... but if too hard also...

if shuffle u drop memang nothing...my sis ipod shuffle drop it more than 15 times oledi..still good...but a lot of scratches...

i thought the first thing to do is to remove the batteries.. just to prevent short circuit in the device

well you can start saving RM10 a week.. in two years time you will the money to your own ipod.

basically ipod shuffle is the same as Flash USB drive.. just that it have an extra battery, a few buttons and not water prove like USB flash drive.. I accidentally wash my usb thumb drive together with my clothes twice inside a washing machines.. it survived..

ahaha... i dropped my ipod so many times... with iskin it dropped around 5-6 times... without i think is once...
iskin rocks!!

i hav this habit of throwing n catching the nano. Falls sometimes but protected by iskin;)
Oh, and dropped my friend's 60gb ipod video without any protective casing from about table height, almost freaked me out but suprisingly working fine with just some minor scratch

since i own this ipod photo,only drop it once

drop it yesterday when i wanna took it out from my pocket
but still not a hardcore fall though....it fell on my room carpet
furthermore my ipod is covered with leather skin

Dropped my 3G ipod 3 times, all on hard surfaces like metal or concrete. Once, the sides cracked open, but after pressing it back still worked fine.

waaa...so good u guys ipod. i think none goes dead after had a fall. my friend ipod nano drop to tar while he's riding and the screen broke but still can be used! LoL!

fell once.. not by me but the salesman...

Can't remember... all I know is many many times.

countless times with countless scratches all over it but it's still working as good as new. oh btw, mine is shuffle. so am loving it so much cause i'm really clumsy in handling stuffs.

, you are funny man....anyway i haven't dropped mine sine i bought it a few years back. Lucky for me!!!

i think 3-4 times gua ... got once, it fell to cement grounf ... and the cover even pop-up a bit ...

then, the last time it dropped in to the toilet bowl [shhhh!] ... sent it for warranty ... got a new piece of iPod back! ^^
