My iPod Nano fell twice already while trying to put it in my pocket cause it slipped, luckily still working fine or else...

I never fell my ipod but hope this won't happen to me because warranty is expired already.

Nano is flash memory based, so it can still survive some fall. You can try it with HDD based iPod, i can bet it wont go more than 5 times. My first pod died 3 days after it fell from table, it's in a pouch, no cosmetic damage tou.

i voted lots of times already..hahah~ my shuffle already got scratches and dents...btw, my ipod vid is still okay even it dropped few times oredi..

Dropped my iPod Video 30GB once when my Senn HD555 cable got caught in my chair. Luckily the iPod landed on my foot. It's protected with a silicone case, so no worries!

2, 3 times up to now if I can remember. When it drops... owww your heart pains...

lots of times already.. thankfully protected by leather case.. so still look n function like new..

Most of all are with cases, mine is simply nthg ..

Ipod Mini. Since the day i bought till now i have dropped it like 5 times..

I am using iPod mini. And it's already fell many, many times. Still working okay for me .

mine never fell before..
i think because i always hold it very TIGHT when handling it.. too scared to drop it.

emmm my fren ipod fell 1 time on the spot die than he take out the hard drive n format it the hard drive work fine maybe the board is out

My ipod fell mutiple times but it still functions properly.

One incident that hurts me the most is, I put my iPod in my water resistant bag and I did not twist my bottle properly. So my iPod was drench and it died on me. I changed my harddisk and I do not know what else. Cost me USD150. I was sad, and refuse to buy a new one because it is an U2 ipod.

Moral of the story is, do not mix electronic with water. If it did, do not try to on your ipod instantly. Wait for a couple of weeks before switching it back on.

Nano is quite durable because it has no moving particles like hard disk, those who own video iPod or hard disk based iPods are more open to danger, it may survive from several falls... but if too hard also...
