As'salam, when our fellow muslim start asking strange question like questioning on what we used to believed what do you think of him/her especially in Malaysia..Some of the topic are openly discussed outside of muslim majority country, but somehow i feel like it's taboo topic in here

that being said, deep down i'm having hard time to believe moon splitting things in hadith..In Quran i think it's up to interpretation.
Killing the apostate agak berat nk hadap..lahir islam but having this penalty is tough to accept..

Did you share or discuss this openly with your friends?..i think many muslim in malaysia dont even know about these sensitive issue.. i once asked my mom about the apostate hadith (saidina Ali). She was totally baffled with it. looking by her reaction i didnt ask further. i felt wrong if i somehow lead them to the confusion..anyway i just pendam only la..if i start questioning some of them will say i terpesong/terkena rasukan syaitan...hrmmm tough2, cannot persoal is too stronk in this one
