Editing note
I thought I had posted this here... Turns out it was a different thread...
If you (and I mean you alone, no other potential masbuk with u) enter the masjid and see the jamaah sitting on the last tahiyat
Should we join immediately or do we wait until imam says salaam in order to start a new jamaah (with one of the masbuk as new imam, I mean)?
Sometimes (ok, actually almost all the time) I see brader2 tu rushing2 join jamaah. But then I consider, if someone ask u how many rakaat u pray with the imam/jamaah, the answer would be zero, zilch, nil, sifar (since if u don't get to do rukuk with the imam consider you missed out on the rakaat). So, if we prayed zero rakaat, isn't it like we didn't pray with the jamaah? Then better to wait and start a new one, no?
*
for me i always follow the imam even if its sujud or tahiyyat.
reason being more tahiyyat and sujud for me *which is better
and the hastening to salat is compulsory upon moslem.

and its better to join the Greater Jamaah as the reward is much Greater
based upon one hadith (please any brother who knows this complete and rectify its naration)
that the solat of 2 by jamaah is greater than 4 person salat alone
and 3 greater than 6 alone and 4 greater than 8 alone
and 8 greater than 100 salat alone

Oh i see. So,uh mind sharing the evidences that lead you to believe that Islam is the true religion?

Im a muslim myself, but i don't really get the teaching and  i guess i need more in depth understandings  blush.gif
*
if i may know , which part are you "dont really get" about ?
for me islam needs to be learned and understood then comes the faith or IMAN.
and blindly following it would not be giving it justice that it deserves.
ill believe the more you`ll learn about the Quran and Sunnah and the history of Rasullullah as a person , a leader and servant of God
the more you`ll love and embrace islam as whole and complete substance in your life.

MLM or any pyramidal schemes, is most often considered as "gharar", aka sumber meragukan.

If you have doubts, or what we called "was2", from syubhah it will become haram.
*
i dont think MLM is considered GHARAR for all types of MLM .

if youre doing MLM to do sales of ITEM/MERCHANDISE/SERVICES is allowable.
but if you doing MLM to do "SALES"=for the sake of COLLECTION OF MONEY its haram.
because your business is not selling ITEM/SERVICES , but its selling DREAM of QUICK WEALTH and RETURNS.

QUOTE(Zaryl @ Nov 26 2016, 11:17 PM)
sadly this is the truth and it's a reality happen to our society.

If our society itself is always lying, being dishonest, making frauds, etc etc, then what of our political leaders?

coming to the question at hand, is there such thing as WHITE LIE aka TIPU SUNAT in Islam?
meaning, you had to lie a bit to change for a better outcome.

example:

A asks B if B saw A's pistol in the house?
B had to lied to A saying no, he didn't see it.

B had to lie to A because B knew A is going to use the gun to murder someone.

So in Islam, can we do WHITE LIE?
*
in islam you should always tell the truth , except in war ( strategies, deception etc)
this is based on the Messenger words

"say the truth even if it hurts"

there is not an allowable lie , even to joke .
not even a lie to an animal. (sometime you called them as if there food to give but actually there no food , that is not allowable)

but in the sense of like the above example it is allowable as the person is not in the sane mine to act upon the truth.
or hiding a death/bad news to unstable person an the truth might harm the person then it is also allowable.

One reason why I use the term fellowship is so to make it accessible to non Muslim, part of da'wah strategy.

Using too many arabic terms will give it a kind of exclusivity , as if the others are not welcomed.
*
i think fellowship is also some sort of a close knit thingy no ?
anyway name it as you will as i believe all that contributed to this thread
and those who read it silently hopefully with good intentions to islam would reap benefits from it.
my hats or kopiah off to you brother for making this thread thumbup.gif
