My dad went hiking and saw this lens. It was covered with dried leaves/ dirt but still in dry condition. He knew I have a dslr and he saw me changed lens before so he took it back for me. I google but cannot find the exact model. Any lens expert please help! Want to know whether I can use it on my Canon EOS or the second-hand price. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by cactuscch: Sep 24 2014, 07:22 PM

Not an expert but can always google and see it. That F=28mm is focal length.
Vitacon 28mm f2.8 Only does 1:5 macro Roughly 50 USD worth
It has various mounts but yours seems like its the Nikon AIS mount from that silver metal aperture piece thingy on the side. You can go to shop that sell adapters to confirm its mount.
But when a Canon EF-S 18-55mm kit lens can do 1:3 macro. This Vitacon lens isn't much of a macro lens.
