I'm currently building up my new rig with Core i5-4460 and Sapphire R9 280... have decided to take Dell S2240L as my monitor which is of course cost me around RM500++

Is there any other recommended monitor selection that is better and cheaper?

monitor selection is quite tricky as we tend to see differently, color, clarity and even brightness all plays a role and it differs from one individual to another

your best bet is to go to the shops, and have a look at all possible monitors to compare

can't help much about the price though, the S2240L is a good monitor with specs that's hard to match on cheaper alternatives

Based on all monitor that I checked at All IT, Dell S2240L is the one that attracts me the most... but why the screen reflection is to high?

unfortunately, glossy screens are like that not everyone will find it suitable, esp in brightly lit areas, you can get a matte screen protector to counter this or you will have to look at matte screen panels
