certain bigger ship cant port in port klang? or less customer.. expensive to pay port fee?

Same ships that used to port here, so unless port klang shrinks, i dun think this is the case. Higher port fee + less customer may be the reason

This would be the first and the last time i'm taking the cruise. I've never really enjoyed or am relaxed on this Costa Serena Cruise.

Pre-Departure
Got a message from the Hwa Jing agent that boarding has been changed from 6pm to 9pm due to some unpredictable situation. The nightmare begins

1st Day
Reached port at 8pm. Door to port building was not open and all the customers are forced to wait outside of the port without aircond. At 8.30pm an announcement was made that there are some delays and the door shall open at 9.30pm. At 9pm, another announcement was made that there are further delays and the door shall be open at 10pm. At approximately 10.15pm only the door was open and all the customers were frisked to the hall in the port building. At 12 midnight, only then we were able to board the cruise.

Nightmare did not stop there. At 1am, all cruise patrons were forced to take part in the emergency drill. Imagine everyone was sweaty and tired. Imagine kids who need to sleep early were forced to do all these. Only by 2am we were able to sleep.

2nd Day
Reached Penang port at around 2pm. All patrons were forced to leave the cruise and do a immigration exit procedure. By the time we left the cruise it was 2.45pm. The last boarding time is 4.30pm. For 1 hour and a half minus the queue congestion, you can't do anything meaningful to explore Penang. We did not explore Penang and straight do an immigration exit procedure and managed to be on board the cruise at 3.30pm and we need to leave our passport to the Cruise.

3rd Day
Reached Phuket 7.30am. There were no any immigration procedures therefore it was quite good. But was very concerned as we did not have a passport with us when we left the cruise and visited Patong Beach town without any passport on hand. However, passport was given to us in the cabin when we came back from lunch. We checked our passport and noticed our passport was stamped by the Thai immigration.

Last Day
All customers were forced to leave their cabins at 2.30pm even though ship were to reached Port Klang at 4pm. Customers were forced to look for public space such as theatre or buffet restaurants to seek 'refuge'. I had stayed in buffet restaurants until 5pm but was also kicked out and we were forced to see 'refuge' in theatre. By 6.45pm, we were then able to leave completely this nightmarish cruise. Thanks for the nightmare 'dream' cruise. P/S food were canteen food and even my economy Wantan Mee now taste so good. rclxub.gif

Genting dream cannot pick ur own room. All randomly assigned include palace guests. Pls pls pls avoid holiday period. All the inclusive restaurants will be very very full and long queue. Most likely by the time it’s your turn those sessions are over d. Then u need to spend money go to specialty restaurant and eat. A lot ppl kena this already.
