Hi guys, I am some basic question on BT mechanism, first time doing it.

Using this campaign as an example:

So I want to swipe an amount of RM12000 using Aeon credit card and BT to Public Bank.

1. Swipe RM12000 using Aeon CC.
2. Fill up the BT form and send to PBB.
3. For 0% 6 months duration, I need to pay RM2000 per month to Public Bank for 6 months.
4. I do not need to pay anything to Aeon.
5. I do not need to pay any hidden charges to Public Bank.

Do I need to inform Aeon?

p/s what benefit will Public Bank get from doing this? 0% interest

Hi, just to check. You do balance transfer from your Aeon CC to Public bank right? Meaning Public Bank accepts BT from Aeon?

Do I need to wait for the transacted amount to be posted on my Aeon CC statement before sending the form to PBB? or as long as it is posted under unbilled transaction, I can send the form already? TQ

Yeah they don't require statement. So meaning once PBB approve and pay to Aeon, the amount will not even appear as outstanding in my next Aeon statement?

mainly because I dont know how it works and it appeared to be too good when I first read about it luckily today, one CS from PBB took her time to explain and answer some of my questions.

My BT from Aeon to PBB.

1st installment payment is already shown at PBB portal but did not receive any notification that my BT application is successful. Still no changes from Aeon side either.

7-Jan Submit BT request to PB
8-Jan Installment amount appear at PBe
11-Jan Received SMS that amount has been debited to PB cc
11-Jan Amount received by Aeon cc
12-Jan Amount posted at Aeon portal

ya..best part is can get cashback and reward points before BT

i scared get poisoned only..luckily PBB set the min amount limit of 6K

My 2nd payment for BT has not appear under unbilled despite already 1 month. Will it only appear when statement is generated?
