Yeah they don't require statement. So meaning once PBB approve and pay to Aeon, the amount will not even appear as outstanding in my next Aeon statement?
*
It will just appear there's a debit to your cc like you pay yourself

that means I can't expect to know the delivery tracking number as well? damn
*
why you need to know?

better you just apply BT at least 1 week before your due

then you don't have to worry anything

Actually I applied the day I got my statement, I read that Aeon is quite slow so I just want to know more since this is my first time and I don't want they screw it up and then the Bank slap me with late charges.
*
my advice

1. apply bt as early as u can

2. always prepare cash in case u need to pay first

3. don't call aeon about your bt (tracking no, etc). just call the bank that u owe the money if payment cleared 1 day before due. if not, just pay first. no point chasing aeon as they won't do anything special since courier and cheque clearance they can't control

Regarding BT to Aeon Credit Card, can BT only the statement balance or the latest outstanding balance (i.e. statement balance plus charges subsequent to the statement balance)?
*
normally statement balance

Thanks. How about the statement balance that already included some BT amount?  biggrin.gif  One round of BT from Bank A to Bank B, now applying BT from Bank B to Bank C and hence the statement balance of Bank B consists BT installments
*
if Bank B for that month has the monthly installment amount included in your balance statement, then you can request Bank C to pay that full amount

Need to confirm: for BT to AEON requires to fax application form + CC's statement to 03-20365888, need to fax IC too? If can do by email, what is the address?

hey,
i've been following this thread for a while.. I got 1 question.

after BT.. do you need to settle the installment amount or you just need to pay the minimum 5%?

if the BT is for 1 year.. do you need to BT to another card right before the BT term end or you could BT to another card way before the BT term end?

any help is appreciated.

Thank you

Treat the bt installation like your normal cc expenditure

Then u will understand what u need to do

I see. What about requesting for a higher BT amount that does not match our statement, would the application be success eg outstanding 1k, apply 3k.
Since aeon allows BT up to 80% of our credit limit, and only allows BT in every 6 month, look likes it's hard to utilise the credit limit for BT if too much restrictions ..
*
most likely if they ask for statement, they won't pay more than the statement balance. As i know Aeon, MBB can't

As I know only PBB can do that. Maybe other banks can as well but i am not sure

I just got my aeon cc today. As I plan to do BT.

Applied CC on 17th Feb 2016.
Collection of CC 25th Feb 2016.

Just realize need to provide the latest cc statement that reflected the amount i want to do BT. However, my CC statement only out on 9th Mar 2016. If i submit my BT application on the 9th Mar 2016, can I get everything done before 28th Mar 2016 as it my cc due date.

Please advise.

Hi bro marliv & opjust,

Thanks for your time. In fact this is exactly what I'm confusing. Bro marliv calculation is based on the initial BT amount, not the outstanding amount, while bro opjust is based on the outstanding amount from 7th month onwards.

Anyone have experience with BSN that can clarify this?
*
why not call BSN CS? tongue.gif

faster and accurate

and report what you know from that conversation here

So BT is better than just keep it there pay minimum payment, which is about 1.5% per month. I got CIMB & MBB cc.
*
Yes better

But you need to make sure the bt installation is paid

any amount is worth it provided you calculate the cost involved (each bank different)
