Telling TS to avoid Samsung monitors? shocking.gif That's a pretty unhelpful post (or borderline rude) to be honest with you. sweat.gif

Your post seems to tell me that all Samsung monitors are flawed.

cle900706 Anyway, nothing wrong with Samsung monitors. They may not offer the best picture quality, however they are pretty well built.
I own a Samsung monitor (Syncmaster 943SNX+) and while it is not the best monitor, it has been serving me fine for nearly 5 years without issues. flex.gif

I wouldn't want a glossy monitor... The glossy finish can become a huge distraction especially when working with large amounts of text, watching videos or gaming. sweat.gif
