Verdict on my Moto G 4G after installed Lollipop 5.1 and used for more than 48hrs
Behaved abnormal at first such as restarting at some points for a few times. It has to be reset to Factory Reset. After that. All things gone smooth again. Other than the new facelift and functionality. Most of it was the same The only one big difference I can feel is the greatly utilization of 1GB Ram. U may switch between apps or tabs with less refresh of page which was annoying on the old firmware. Hope it helps. Cheers n God bless This post has been edited by WHITE ACE: Jun 29 2015, 10:24 AM |

But there is no such option available on 5.1QUOTE(WHITE ACE @ Jun 29 2015, 10:23 AM) Verdict on my Moto G 4G after installed Lollipop 5.1 and used for more than 48hrs My clean format MotoG Lollipop 5.1 experience, it is smart enough to install and place all apps on my Google Launcher screen as before on KitKat.Behaved abnormal at first such as restarting at some points for a few times. It has to be reset to Factory Reset. After that. All things gone smooth again. Other than the new facelift and functionality. QUOTE(NightFelix @ Jun 30 2015, 07:51 PM) that back, reminds me of generic looking samsung galaxy ace series that front, why so samsung-inspired? geeeez in 2013, it's really value for money in 2015, still 5 inch 720p with 1GB ram is.... so disappointing, when u consider the updates arent even punctual anymore. Chinese OEMs are looking increasingly competitive. Huaweis, One Plus, Meizu.... |

QUOTE(NightFelix @ Jun 30 2015, 07:51 PM) I really hope they can price a variant with 16GB storage (at least) very well in comparison to a lot of mighty budget phones these days. The only winning point of the Moto G is the software... and I don't think a lot of people is keen to pay twice the amount for half the performance for software purposes |
