Last time when I work in Kelantan also kena con by a shop that looks so grand with high tech stuff. A few month later, have to get it repaired so later on I decided to send my car to a kampung tyre shop in Kubang Kerian where he adjust chamber, alignment using string and ruler. Before changing here and there, he will test drive first with you sitting at the passenger seat so that he can feel what is wrong with the car. Then only he starts repairing. So old school but that is the most trusted and reliable tyre shop i've gone to in Kelantan. Thumbs up!

guys, if i change rear tyre coz got kembung (dont know what to call it) tokey ask me to change both rear tyre coz he said wont balance if change one oni, is that normal ?or kana tipu

usually change both tyre.. either front or back.. if not.. not balance...

Same, went to my regular workshop but they are off so went to next door shop and terus need to replace chamber screw RM 50 a piece buta2 kena potong. Btw, the shop is call TOP SPEED.

Even recently go to my regular workshop due to clutch issue they check check also told me your absorb bar no good, engine mount kong, some oil filter ring need change, etc, from verbal quote of RM 600 suddenly shoot up to 1k +. I told them thank you but no thanks because I have no money. Still they replace my gear oil without asking me and bill me terus.

Sometime I really hope to go take a course of car repair & DIY.

check the alignment results on the machine first.. dun simply simply go change the camber bolt.... maybe the angle off slightly one side only..

got one shop i went at puncak jalil.

this uncle got view-view said the klunk-klunk noise is due to broken output shaft.

turn out he's correct and he din ask for anything for his expert opinion.

Camber skru one time tuka only. Front right and left. Some cars comes with the one can be adjust. Some car tak boleh adjust. So all u need is to remember which one belum tuka. Left or right. If sudah tukar dua2. U kasitau la sudah tukar. U kasi adjust saja maaa. Lagi mau tukar apa pasat? Rosak? Niamahhh. Itu skru xboleh rosak mia. Itu skru tada kena apa wear n tear lagi mau tukar. Kasi tukar satu keleta mia skru la itu machiam. Kanninahhh

not balance means not balance of traction. different tyre models got different traction. should have same traction tyres for either front or back. better should same for all tyres.
poorfags like us only change 1 pair for front or back.

Aku dulu pernah gak jadi mcm ko nih, Mekanik tu yang pasang timing belt aku tak ketat dia salahkan pulley aku pulak, dia suruh tukar baru... Aku rasa pulley aku elok je selama aku pakai takde masalah, sejak tukar timing belt dia buat hal...

Aku pun refer kat bengkel lain;

"Abg buat kete lama dah, abg tengok kete ko ok jer, dia yang buat tak betul, ko xyah tukar apa2, meh abg tlg ketatkan timing belt ko"

SO MORAL OF THE STORY DONT REFER TO ONLY 1 WORKSHOP, TRY TO SEEK OPINION FROM OTHER WORKSHOP..

due to different wear rate between front and rear tires... it's normal to change 2pieces at the time, of cos if you feeling rich.. can change all 4..

one thing i notice on perodua...their normal service in total is considered cheaper than outside shop...

outside shop quote me normal service with semi synthetic(7000km) range from RM120-160
peerodua quoted me semi synthetic(10000km) rm140...samoer got free drinks and aircond...
