Too good to be true... for the ryzen 3000 processor,  I don't have to ditch my asus C7H for the incoming asus C8XXX motherboard to get PCie 4.0 feature. laugh.gif

Wow that’s great news. So as long as the layout is clean the first slot can be upgraded by bios updates.
(Given manufacturers wanna do and risk loosing out on new sales)
Especially great for those having lanes fully or overly utilised at this point. (lanesplitting)

This is merely a fairy tale... Intel will get punished for monopolizing the industry. the US FTC will take actions once Intel controls 100% of the industry.  hmm.gif

Exactly, completely groundless.
Especially, if this would really be about filling their CEO position as the report states it would be silly because even if FTC and their counterparts would agree (which imho is very unlikely) it would be a very lengthy process.

european preorders opening now with slightly higher than expected prices (e.g. 3900x ~RM2140 excl. sales tax on amazon.de). delivery to malaysia would be RM2550 incl. shipping and import taxes with express delivery (09-15. July)
