It has 20" offset, but should be fixed in latest Ryzen master

I tot it only happened in 'X' variants? hmm.gif
Btw i didn't try to plug another 2 sticks because the dimm slots have been blocked by hardtube need to drain & dismantle the WC sad.gif

I have no idea why the cpu temperature shown in AMD Ryzen master software is so much different with other monitoring software, look at my stability test temperature result, AMD Ryzen master showing 69.75degree but HWinfo64 shown 55degree  rclxub.gif

Besides, the VRM temperature for Asrock Fatality X370 K4 kinda scary, exceed 70degree  shakehead.gif
*
I rem the safe temp range of VRM is different with cpu, cpu should below 80'c, but vrm is depends or mobo's vrm component. As asrock taichi's vrm, from datasheet it can hold up temp as high as 125'c.

The temp 20% offset problem is a software issue, not just for X version XD

I think is really not many ryzen user here, since still intel is name more famous? XD

Just done googled some VRM thermal imaging of mobo
http://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/8135/asro...ew/index10.html

About VRM temp that user shared out of their info
Attached Image Attached Image Attached Image

I think even with VRM high temp, doesnt means that your board pcb will get high temp as ur vrm does. But it sure that a long time run under very high temp as there are no heatsink for vrm, will get u result that a well done toast mobo.

X370 VRM temps related according tweaktown thermal imaging
asrock x370 taichi > biostar x370gt7 > asus rog chrosshair > GIGABYTE AX370-Gaming 5 = asrock x370 k4 > msi x370 krait

Haha the cheaper K4 is about same as expensive giga gaming 5 that's make me felt more comfortable. I'm thinking should i buy more expensive board or not look like nothing to worry about biggrin.gif

VRM $$ on board

B350 mobo range
Gigabyte (4+3 with onsemi) > Asus (4+2 with onsemi) > Biostar (4+3 with sinosemi) > MSI (4+2 with nikosem) > ASROCK (3+3 with nikosem1)

X370 mobo range
asrock taichi/pro gaming X370 (6x2+2x2 with TiNexfet) = biostar x370gt7 (6x2+2 with Infineon) > asus rog crosshair (4x2+2x2 with TiNexfet) ~ asus prime x370 (6+2x2 with TiNexfet)> GIGABYTE x370 (6+2x2 with Infineon) > MSI titanium (6+2x2 with nikosemi) > asrock Gaming K4/Sli x370 (4x2+2x2 with nikosemi/sinosemi) > msi gaming pro and below (4x2+2 with nikosemi)

Thermal Imaging from tweaktown
asrock x370 taichi > biostar x370gt7 > asus rog chrosshair > GIGABYTE AX370-Gaming 5 = asrock x370 k4 > msi x370 krait

Just googled around and make a roughly quality and performance of VRM of AM4 mobo, in traits, seems powerphase design and quality of VRM effect the thermal.

Heat should about same becoz of vrm design 6+2x2 vs 4x2+2x2, more expensive for gigabyte x370 may caused by VRM price onboard, gigabyte auros using germany infineon compared to asrock k4 china sinosemi/taiwan nicosemi.

Absolutely, those with best VRM the price also much more higher, i will just continue use the board until if one day it failed then only look for high end board biggrin.gif

I called Jayacom and Rextech, both also claim stock not arrive yet. Talked to one of MSI representative ( or from shop, not sure ) at Ryzen launch event, also said stock not arrive yet.

Seriously man I don't know where you get your sources from.

The 20 degree off-set happens on X model only actually and no, it's not just software. Even the motherboard BIOS will report it with 20 degree off from actual.

I don't know how many of your posts I have to highlight, later I become like bad person already.

What's it got to do with Ryzen Master when the off-set is there even without Ryzen Master?

You can refer to my video, skip to 2:30

IF it's really a Ryzen Master aka software issue, you think the motherboard will display the same number? It's more than just software.

I'm using 1700, the temp shown in Ryzen Master is higher than other monitoring software eg aida64
