haha cause i manage to get this 3 piece 8gb ddr4 ram with reasonable price
but not sure ryzen mobo can support or not
*
check mobo qvl, if not in list, probablly wont run max potential speed of the ram. use 2 stick for dual channel 16gb better than 24gb. maybe sell off other stick?

Hi just menyibuk coz saw your RAM Gskill Trident Z.
I bought a pair few weeks ago but my DDR4 3200 can only go 2400 only being Hynix module single rank
Hope yours is 3600 since it may me Samsung ones and can get to 3200 at least
Anyway hope u won the silicon lottery
*
Ryzen more prefer Samsung B die chip, so far DDR4 that confirmed using B die chip are GSkill Trident Z 3200mhz CL14 & GSkill Flare X 3200mhz CL14, too bad both of these models not import to Malaysia, Trident Z 3200mhz CL16 most likely using Samsung E die chip or Hynix.

dual channel get you advantage of speed, 24gb just total size ram increase @@
Its hard to utilize all 24gb except u doing a very big file size workloads.

Edited:
I think i'm wrong in my knowledge.

I'm used to check benchmark and reviews, seems dual channel today not get any big improvement, because dual channel = double memory controller bandwidth .
Today memory controller bandwidth is enough for using, is really hard to get your gaming or workloads data pack utilize whole bandwidth, its only benefit 5%-10% than single channel ram.

In my experience, i admmit bigger size of total ram is useful when u get to used big workloads or multitasking etc than consume more than 16gb ram.
But if for rendering speed, what i get from internet's review, benefit of 24gb compared to 16gb just around faster 10%.

As conclusion,

The most benefit of getting 24gb than 16gb, is when you consume more than 16gb total ram underworking on serious workloads as video rendering photoshop etc and consume more than 16gb, otherwise its really worthless.

The most benefit of getting dual channel today is when u using integrated gpu, and double bandwidth of memory speed controller will get you better graphic performance.

I'm still suggest sell of the memory to get more budget for other pc part improvement is better XD

DDR4 RAM price is going to increase as the news are circulating now.
Those higher clocked ones are even pricier
Expexted to be so until samsung and hynix get better yield by next year
Some youtuber were able to overclock cheapo RAMs to 3000+ speeds. As long as they are cl14 ones

Man thats expensive but maybe cheaper than buying locally.
At least branded ram has warranty so it should run at the xmp specs on intel board at least.
Saw on lelong.my a ddr ram programmer that can re write the xmp profile on ram sticks. Beware when buying cheap rams guys

Hope you can get it run at its native speed, i just re-adjust the timing of my corsair dominator platinum now able to run at 2666mhz, hopefully a few bios updates can solve the problem so that i can save some $$$ for the crazy expensive ram

Ya, been worried when I visit reddit. After some consideration, still getting 3200 as price difference to 3000 or 2400 wasnt that far, and I read many did success at running 3200.
