QUOTE(xtreme25711 @ Sep 17 2014, 11:42 PM) For dota 2 player, i don't think packet loss issue is caused by this AAG submarine cable breakdown. I'm unifi 5mbps user since 2011 november and no problem at all.But unfortunately, since 3 MONTHS AGO packet loss problem for my dota 2 occured especially night time (8pm onwards) everyday. I got another house that using MAXIS 1MBPS INTERNET has no problem at all to play dota 2, no packet loss, i can play whenever i want. Random caps and frustration in language will only make your plea/complain less impactful.THAT"s WHY I'M CONFIRM IT IS TM PROBLEM THAT CAUSE PACKET LOSS, ALL OF MY FRIENDS THAT USING STREAMYX AND UNIFI are having the same problem as me. SO few days ago i called their CS to complain, every time i call i NEED TO KEEP REPEATING MY ******* STORY TO THEM, and their solution was only restart my port, and I'm using my home phone to call them, so I HAVEN"T FINISH MY TAKE THEN THE PHONE DISCONNECTED ALREADY, SO I CONTACT THEM VIA EMAIL. Sent pingplotter to them. Damn really coincidentally this AAG submarine cable breakdown, they just presume and explain to me about my problem is caused by this cable. so after this AAG line is fixed but the packet loss problem still persist, IM GONNA COMPLAIN THEM LIKE ..... what i want to reiterate that MAXIS HAS NO PACKET LOSS, ONLY UNIFI, AND THIS PROBLEM STARTS FROM 3 months AGO, AAG LINE WAS JUST BROKEN ON MONDAY...so please doto 2 unifi user help me to complain 1300-88-1221 or UNIFI@TM.COM.MY more people complain only can escalate this problem and make awareness to them. QUOTE(jacktooandroid @ Sep 18 2014, 12:12 AM) Shouldn't affect the link to Singapore Servers unless TM change their BGP all to Singapore ASN to offloads their AAG data loads, Which I think TM is doin this. Yeah I think this is a highly plausible explanation. I just hope they will reroute it back to normal after the fix. |
