Hi , I'm looking for simple setup for a improvement over my stock car speaker especially the door 6 inch speakers

To replace my stock which when volumn up , the sound feel dispersed n unclear....very kesian my current sound system, I need to change as soon as possible but totally noob here.

I have Pioneer X165DVD and no need bluetooth. Not necessarily need woofer or amp but can recommend a budget setup. I prefer under rm1000 setup excluding Hud but can stretch to under rm2000 if worth it coz I'm not an audiophile, I just want can enjoy a good sound everyone deserve to

I want solid, clear and decent sharp sound i.e. vocal n bass. Bass decent , and solid feel, no need overpowering. I drive a hatchback, almost no legroom

Music preference, trance, house, love song, modern rockpop those

Got ppl recommend me 6" DNS speakers rm300ish. How would you setup a decent entry level or value for money one? Thank you.

If u really want a good component speaker.. Try lightning audio.. DLS mostly are for sq sound system, not realy good for hard rock type songs.. Also pls be aware of many fake DLS in the market previously..

Yeah will absolutely take tht in note. ya, they say dls abit mid to high end...i was offered 1.2k for DLS component, quite steep if ask me.

Guys, any of u have FD2 stock audio how arh....??

I sat in my friend's FD2, his SS (sound system) so so good....solid but soft bass, good trebel, very sharp vocal ,like no background noise like that. it so good playing those china song, those lui jia liang, wongkit and andy lau song...so good

He bought the car used so he dono the source, I m so sure it is aftermarket and not stock...

RM1k can be achieved. Can try to look at JBL's product range. From CS/GT/GT-0. all are affordable and gives out good quality.

CS - direct drop in replacement for your current speakers (Price range Rm150 - RM250)

GT5 or 6 - From my observation, CS and GT5/6, the only difference i heard or seen was, it only comes with the grill. (Price range RM200 - RM300 per component)

GT-O - Grand touring series. (best bang for the BUCK! their components starting from 90W RMS) (RM400 and beyond)

Their AMPS are good also. I own a 4 channel and a subwoofer amp from JBL. Both are GT Series. Including my speakers and woofers. JBL GT series. Not GT-O la. Hehe... all of this was below RM2k.

my opinion la.

JBL GT6-6C 2 Way Component - RM250
JBL GT5-A604 4 Channel AMP - RM420 (extra channel i use to power up my front subwoofer tho. can keep the extra just incase u wanna add coaxials at the rear.)
JBL GT5-12 Subwoofer - RM250
JBL GT5-A604 Subwoofer AMP 600W Peak - RM480

4GA wiring kit RM120 + 1 distribution block RM40 + installation RM30.

This is my setup. I use 2 subwoofer tho.

Subtotal RM1400 for those things above. Soundproofing i only did the front door and bonet area (not the whole area but critical areas so only cost me RM200. Bonet i used soundblox)

i agreed on what you say on the price. but this was the price given to me when i got the whole package. i even sold off my old ice setup. dom's out, streams out. for the sake of JBL. cheap but good.
