Let's be fair - the iPhone ecosystem has some advantages over Android. The iPhone may not have the best features, but at least almost the features it does have is good and well-implemented. The iPhone has a good stable OS, no carrier bloatware, and great sound quality and camera. It's perfect for people who just want a phone that works. Plus it integrates well with Mac/OSX.

Whereas look at the main Android flagships:

- Nexus 5: The loudspeaker has poor sound quality compared to my SGS4 Active. Warranty in Malaysia is so hard to get too. The IPS screen is good, but the viewing angles aren't as good as some other flagships.

- S5, S4, Note, etc: Internally they have good hardware and great screens. But you get touchwiz bloatware that causes lag, especially with the Gallery/Camera apps.

- HTC One M8: Great screen but only 4MP camera. Even though they claim it's  "Ultrapixel" it's just marketing speak.

- XiaoMi: Very cheap and good hardware, but I really dislike the MIUI skin.

+1 on the positive note on iPhone. Tempted to try iPhone again due to bigger screen (the 6 will do, 6+ too big already).

Waiting game started for the price to "make sense".

LG G2 is the best size + SOT for me. Kinda feel sad that swapped it for N5 but N5 is worth more just for the "buttery" feel..

How I wish can keep 2 phone..

Means if we want it, it could turn into low end ( as in laggy ) smartphone but with one month standby time  shocking.gif

Yeah. Quite terrible actually. I tried it once but can't take the lag, especially after getting used to the smoothness of N5.

But, depending on the situation, it does come in handy as a last resort option.

Stock L is AWESOME! Even for a preview. If the OTA starts rolling next week then bye2 custom roms! At least for now.

Finally, Google is on the right direction.

I'll just upgrade using ota this time. Heard a lot of good things from developer preview.

I want to feel the excitement of getting ota notification too biggrin.gif

yup, developer preview is working nice. Actually, it's way better than stock KitKat.
