Yes, not fixed, it is more to a design flaw and I don't think it will get fixed because if they fix it in newer batches then they will have to honor warranty claims for the existing owners as well.
Can't agree more, after comparing the OPO and N5 side by side, I decided the only main benefit I can get for the OPO is the battery life and decided to put the money to a better use. The OPO is great but since I already have a N5, I couldn't justify the need to splash out money for the OPO yet.

Yeah. There is no need to be so extreme and fanboy behaviour is becoming like those fanboy of a certain fruit brand. Different ppl have different needs, we choose and buy a phone according to our needs. After more than 2 weeks with both phone i still prefer my N5 cos there is a certain smoothness than u can't find on a 1+1. Both a good phones, just the i like feel that my N5 gave me. Before this i did thought of changing my N5 for the 1+1

come to think of it, these few days google play service keeps trigger wakelock on my phone (don't know what it is trying to sync, just sync halfway and stuck there throughout the night without realizing), which has never happen before even with auto sync data and location reporting on. any of you guys experience this?

Short version: Those aren't really wakelocks. You can ignore them. Please go check in WakeLock Detector, and you'll see that they don't show up there.

Long version: Admittedly, I don't know *exactly* why they're showing up in BBS, but not in Wakelock Detector. I did a ton of testing today and can confirm that my device showed 988 NlpWakeLocks in BBS, but only 20 in WLD. During that time, I also had logcat running and a custom hook in the Android stats code. Logcat didn't show any of those phantom wakelocks, the Android stats code doesn't record them, NlpUnbounce doesn't see them, and WLD doesn't see them. BBS is [awesomely] open source, so I went digging a bit. I don't see anything obviously wrong in the code, but for some reason it's getting the counts wrong. Here's the interesting piece: It's getting the TIME SPENT in the wakelocks correct. That's why you see something absurd like 2000 wakelocks and only 6 seconds of lock time. If it were really that many wakelocks, your lock time would be much, much higher.

Camera is good, in fact I think it's quite good, although had to admit Google camera app/software is really not so good, had to use HDR+ mode for consistent white balance.  Battery life, is so so, mediocre, you must tweak kernel gao gao to have good enough battery life.

From what I read and understand, CM camera software was not so good, same issue with Nexus, bad camera software.
You might get attacked here as well    because N5 camera wasnt lousy, just bad software.

Overall user experience, the smoothness of a nexus is not found on that phone. Thats what i experience with both phone. Its just overated with so much hype the company created

There's one phone ( well it's phablet ) Huawei Ascend Mate 7, a 6" IPS 1080P with aluminium uni-body and 4100mAh battery  83% screen body ratio    If only it was S805, and have AOSP ROM then that's a killer.

5" is the max that I can go. I don't mind thicker phone to accommodate bigger battery than thinner but larger phone.
