Timber floor or laminate floor?
If you have little budget, suggest you can takr laminate flooring and save for other things, solid timber floor will cost a lot.
If you want laminate flooring, highly recommend inovar flooring, made in malaysia, price higher than those china/thailand made, but good quality.

Go to their website. You can also see the range of product at the website. They have quite a few showroom, the one closest to klang is shah alam i guess. At seksyen 9.

Im looking for the same thing. But I asked a flooring shop in kk and they recommended engineered wood, since laminate gives u that hollow sound/feel. Im still shopping around klang too

Take the 12mm and use rubber underlay. It will be much better. And your existing floor surface is important too. Cos laminate floorong installed by Floating method.
Engineered wood sounds good too, but price is much higher than laminate, but still cheaper than solid wood.

sorry, I tumpang your post. I am thinking to do plastic ceiling (no L-Box, just simple ones) for my living and dining rooms combined roughly size of 12' x 31'? Both areas is one long stretch.

My questions:
1. How much roughly the cost for plaster ceiling + lights?
2. Is 8 downlights sufficient for that size?

Appreciate any response.
