What is this?
This is magnetic charging cable and adapter to connect to your Xperia Z Ultra or Xperia Z1 to the USB Power adapter for convenient charging from wall outlet.

Is this an original Sony product?
No. Sony never market a magnetic charging cable separately. The only way you can get an original magnetic cable is by diassemble dk30 or dk31 docks and take out the cable. That would just be expensive.

Is the adapter for use with microusb?
Yes. The adapter is to be use with a microusb cable meaning you can use you existing microusb cable to charge you Xperia Z Ultra or Xperia Z1. Less cable dangling from your pocket!

Can I power this cable from USB port?
Yes but not any usb port. It should at least have 2.1A output.

Can I use this cable/adapter with Xperia Z?
No. The cable/adapter only compatible with Sony Xperia Z Ultra and Sony Xperia Z1.

[u]Do you offer warranty for this product?[u]
Yes, this cable and adapter covered with DOA (Dead On Arrival) warranty which means if you received the item unusable i.e. no current coming through/not charging, 1-on-1 replacement will be given. No exchange for low magnets strength claims unless for extreme cases i.e. not stick at all.

Cable type: You plug usb end to your charger/pc and stick the magnetic end to your phone.


Adapter type: You need to have a micro-usb cable to use this adapter.


Both function the same way, to charge your phone.

Z1,Z1s,Z1C,Z2,Z3,Z3C all use the same magnetic charging port.
