I doubt that, making a good quality product isnt much of a problem. Making one with strict budget and profit to cost ratio is a different story.

More often than not, "optimizing" is another word for "cut cost" at the expense of quality.

There are limits to how much you can "optimize" when it starts to affect the end products quality, worse still is cost cutting through the chain which ultimately leads to something so shitty you even wondered how they can actually sell it for such a price.

Fortunately for me, my industry favours more on quality and time, cost isnt that big a deal due to the oil money.

Im talking about quality control, not productivity. No point increaseing productivity but suffer on the quality of your products. Since in the end, people will remember your company on how good your product is, not how fast they can get it.
