Question 1:
Worth it... it buys you sound sleep and peace of mind so you don't have to worry if your bars have tungsten inserts (for gold bars). If you're long term physical holder, you will never know if your stash is any good for years until the moment you sell it and the buyer performs assaying / testing.

Question 2:
No one will be at ease divulging such numbers here bro. The machine itself was around RM4500 back in 2021. It's around RM5300 now.

gold & silver came under pressure yesterday:

US 10yr yield spiked 4.686%.
US 30yr topped 5.197%.
Japan 10yr now at record high 2.81%
Japan 30yr peaked at historic high 4.19%
these high yields pressured precious metals prices as they do not have any yield.
yields have since eased a bit.
$ stayed relatively strong with DXY at 99.33

Gold has dropped below 5, 20, 50, 100 day moving average.
if bond yields rise further, it may go below 200 day MA of $4415.
it's impt to watch Japan bond yields and Yen.
to defend a falling yen, tokyo has started to sell some US treasuries.
we have yet to see how the yen carry trade will develop.
