i don't especially watch his stuff but came across a couple of them, looked OK to me.

i tend to watch those of andy schetman, peter schiff, mike maloney, mike oliver, rick rule, matthew pippenburg
one thing to keep in mind is gold and silver volatility is likely to stay high for a while.

His HK/China stocks are decently presented. BUT he should say anything about gold when he is no expert!
Just to create a useless vid to appease his sheep..

that is, a drop of $300 in 3 days can also mean a similar move upwards! tongue.gif

...

i also notice something with the bullion traders. from their websites, other than small denominations, there's hardly any >1oz gold coins and bars available. Silver bars 10oz and above, no stock anywhere.

i wonder if there's really no stock or the traders are hoarding, not selling them now.

I watched Atrioc's gold takes. There's something he said which is very true: when you see even your lay people, uncle aunties etc. also start buying gold, it is high time to sell biggrin.gif

has gold price stabilized?

will it go down to $3500 or recover above $4300?

apart from FOMO & wild speculation, have major factors like inflation outlook, central banks buying, de$ changed?

Buyers need to recapture the 23.6% Fibo support-turned-resistance at $4,129 to sustain the rebound toward all-time highs of $4,382.
https://www.fxstreet.com/analysis/gold-pric...es-202510220312

As of this writing, gold futures have advanced $26.60, or 0.65%, to trade at $4,132. Today's positive price action reinforces the hypothesis that a pivot is materializing and that gold's record-breaking trajectory may resume.
https://www.kitco.com/opinion/2025-10-23/go...gle-day-decline

Gold surged 32% in just two months, and if the 2006 pattern repeats, we could be on the verge of a sharp pullback toward the 200-day moving average by around this time next month (November 21st). The price gap near $3,450 could serve as a potential target if gold revisits the 200-day MA.

Smart money is on the sell-side for now... biggrin.gif

But do your own research and risk on your own terms...

Gold rising from $2,000 to $4,000 means its value has increased by 100%.

In other words, the value of central banks’ gold reserves has effectively doubled.

In the short term, this surge might push their reserves close to their target thresholds. (I guess ?)

The price may consolidate for a while — possibly for several months or even years — unless gold prices decline back toward their preferred threshold levels.

Gold investing is unlike stocks nor crypto. It is a district investment involving longer time, patience, preservation n free cash flow.

If you didn't have the cash flow to buy gold at <$200/gram n hold for years, and still not sell now....why get the urge to buy at $500, $550, etc?

Ask yourself, why the mindset changed, and suddenly u interested in this forum...likely improved cash flow, yet takut water level rise above nose?

i read and watched several reports of gold & silver.

it's a mixed bag of comments.

some are saying a top has formed; some are saying there's a few more years to run up.

many are saying the most likely thing to happen is a coming 4-5 months consolidation period before next leg up.

this has happened many times before, like in apr-aug this year.

so, the major derivatives players & speculators dumping are now battling with central banks & institutional buying.

in the middle are the coming fed rate cuts, likely $ QE restart + geopolitics, de$, trade wars escalation or de escalation.

my personal view... gold is not cepat kaya play... short term speculative trades, better take some money off the table.

long term physical holdings, no fear. keep holding, can even add if the dip is low enough.

Auntie, upped me with 8X price purchase on a jade ring.

The price of Gold currently is under consolidation phase and people has commented that it could be the right time to invest in Gold as the price of gold is correcting. But most of the Gold Bullion Dealers have run OUT of STOCK. When you make inquire when new stock will arrive the dealer could not provide the answer. The buyers just have to wait. Many individuals are also not selling.

quite true the 1oz gold bars & coins stocks are low; 50g, 100g zero stock.

silver bars 10 oz and above, absolute zero!

if u hv done yr homework and want to buy, i think the 1oz are still available but not at best price.

some of us buy at silver bullion but they have no stock for most items.
https://www.silverbullion.com.my/Shop/Buy/Gold_Bars

the others i know of are:
https://mybulliontrade.com/product-category.../buy-gold-bars/
https://www.buysilvermalaysia.com/

if u buy, it's always better to buy slowly, spread out the purchases.

there's a likely scenario that gold price will consolidate sideways for a few months before the next big move.

Many people are holding and not selling their Gold Bullion. If you sell your gold now you might not able to buy them back at competitive price because many Bullion Dealers are running out of stock especially for 1 ounce or lesser weight Gold Bullion. Even if they have stock their pricing might be much higher. It is really up to individual preference whether they want to take profit or not. Best Wishes.

Dear Diary,

The above msg reminded Unker abt an old story how gold changed someone's destiny.

Abt 20++ years ago, an Auntie sold her gold pieces to support a deserving niece for UK accountancy.

Now, she is paying it back. The Auntie now stays FOC at the spare apartment everytime she visits relatives there n her children treated to premium hotel stays at Shanghai, Bangkok n Macau.

The moral of the story is 'paying it forward.'... when in doubt buy gold.
