Hi All,

I am required to get a English test for my postgraduate study. I would like to know anyone had taken the both exam and which one is easier to score?

I've tried the PTE sample test and I don't really like it especially for the writing section.

Please advice.

Thank you.

don't you want to know your REAL level of english.....rather than the 'easiest'....

why is education now all about the 'easiest'.....rather than the highest quality?.....

The test meant to show you rout real English proficiency level. that's all.

Both are the same quality. I should put it this way.. since one is computer based and another is human based, which one is more user friendly / easier to tackle?

By the way, have u taken one of these tests?

as is implied by someone above, there is no 'easy' test....as the results are given in bands, there is no 'pass' or 'fail', therefore there is no 'easy or hard' test.....the band reflects you level of proficiency....

Both is RIGHT. Which one is EASIER? There is a difference of the way taking IELTS and PTE. If you have not taken it you won't know.

They're both a test of your proficiency in English. I could take either one with my eyes shut, no need to ask which is easier.
