If Costa played against Schalke full time, then I guess he won't be able to start against City. I'm guessing the physio and medical team is keeping Costa as fit as possible for 90 minutes. His old injuries at Atletico is still haunting him imo, which is why he can't play in midweek games. He can only play 1 game per week I guess.

finally, our big test is coming up! City needs the point. After 4 games, they only have 7 points. If we can beat City, we will be sending a message to all the other club aiming at the PL crown.

I hope we can rack up all points available as early as possible. Then focus on CL when reach knockout phase. Players like Matic, Fab and Costa can be rested and focus on midweek games, while players like Mikel, Ram and Remy can play in PL after we mathematically win it.

City started with plenty of possession, we were at the back for a long time. Slowly came into the game. But then our final third have been disappointing. Lack of the crucial pass, even if the crucial pass is there. Kompany and Mangala easily outmuscle Costa. Maybe we nid Drogba + Costa? two physically strong front man to occupy both Mangala and Kompany. Then Hazard and Fab can go thru the middle.

Btw, Kompany and Managala really solid yo, no kidding. Azpi oso did quite well in his tackling.

But tbh, our pressing game is off today. Very very seldom I see Hazard, Willian and Ramires pressing the oppositions' defense and midfield. I guess that's the con of playing 433.
