Yup, CFC under Mou play alot diff then the previous coaches we have, bu then there is among of players that is still there do learn alot from the different approach.

under Mou we focus on stability and the players are less reckless than the previous regime.

Mou first rule : if you dont concede goal, we will never lose.

we work as a unit, so defender can attack, while attacker must defend, not total football style..under Mou the movement of all the players depend on the position of the ball.

agree with some of you that Zouma, Salah, Ake, Dom and few more youths are Mou pet project. biggrin.gif

Salah potential is huge with his explosive acceleration..hopefully he patience enough to bid his time.

Good observation. I'm not sure if it's a mental block or something. I think everyone knows he has lightning in those boots but he's just reluctant to put his foot through it more often,or better yet place it with his in-step. We know he's capable as he's scored some wonderful goals for us.

Case in point was when herrera or was it blind that got dispossessed by him in midfield, as he was racing towards goal with only smalling / de gea left to beat,he took a heavy touch and smalling took control of the ball without much fuss. Talk about an anti climax sweat.gif

However, hazard is also guilty of this as well. Sometimes he gets past one or two outside the box and there's an opening, but he chooses the safe pass option.

There have been some brilliant team goals from us thus far but i miss the 'security' of knowing that anyone of our star midfield players can just pick up possession, make some space for himself and smash it into the top corner! thumbup.gif

I think because we play as a unit, that limit some of the players.

If the player can adapt to the system and break free when attacking, we might see a much more fluid play from the lads.

all 3 tridents supposed to be able to do the make some space for himself and smash it into the top corner! but they are tied to the playing system.

Im not saying that the unit system is bad or anything, but players need to adapt and break free according to the situation.

bottom line is, we still need to improve. laugh.gif

Some fun facts for our match against Shrewsbury Town

Chelsea team
- cost about £300 million
- bankrolled by billionaire
- fan base worldwide of 400 million
- unbeaten for run for the past 6 months

Shrewsbury
- cost 0
- need two temporary stands to accommodate 10,000 people in their stadium
- when manager, Micky Mellon was offered the Shrewsbury job, they had been relegated, and had just five players on the staff
- when they put this match tickets for sale last month, Micky Mellon and some of the players served cups of tea to queuing spectators

Slow tempo like this later confirm sleep.

Too slow at midfield. Too overconfident?

Jose Mourinho tells Cheslea's fringe players they did not play well enough against Shrewsbury Town

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has told some of his fringe players they have made his next team selection "easy" after they failed to make the most of their opportunity against Shrewsbury.
