Good observation. I'm not sure if it's a mental block or something. I think everyone knows he has lightning in those boots but he's just reluctant to put his foot through it more often,or better yet place it with his in-step. We know he's capable as he's scored some wonderful goals for us.

Case in point was when herrera or was it blind that got dispossessed by him in midfield, as he was racing towards goal with only smalling / de gea left to beat,he took a heavy touch and smalling took control of the ball without much fuss. Talk about an anti climax

However,hazard is also guilty of this as well. Sometimes he gets past one or two outside the box and there's an opening, but he chooses the safe pass option.

There have been some brilliant team goals from us thus far but i miss the 'security' of knowing that anyone of our star midfield players can just pick up possession,make some space for himself and smash it into the top corner!
