Hironobu Sakaguchi, who is referred to as the master of RPG and has released Finally Fantasy series and Kingdom Hearts series games, recently announced he will release new game 'Terra Battle' for mobile platforms.

The game is set in a broken world. The world anthropocentric with the existence of various subhuman races like Lizard, monster and so on. And each race has its gods. But, there are still a lot of unknown places in the world and no one knows what there is. And the only way to know the truth of the unknown is to explore personally. On the trip, you will know the history of the world and be closer to the truth of it. What is waiting for you? Bright or Nihility?



This time, Hironobu Sakaguchi will lead SE dev team to develop Terra Battle. The type is still our familiar RPG. Besides, the game contents will increase in term of the download counts. For example, when the download counts of players reach 100 thousand, the famous music producer Nobuo Uematsu will make new music for the game. When the number comes to 200 thousand, Final Fantasy XII art director Hideo Minaba will design new character for it. As long as 100 thousand downloads added, the official will add new contents. Currently, they have drawn up the additional contents up to 2 million downloads.



The gameplay looks like Puzzle and Dragons. The battlefield is set in a chessboard. You can drag a hero tile to adjacent positions and drive the heroes along the way to move together. Through moving hero, you can arrange different formations to launch combo skills.






An encounter that will tear away the veil shrouding the world's secrets and set the gears of fate in motion...
*Maneuver your characters freely to outflank your enemies.
Move units freely around a grid-based map to flank the enemy, striking from both sides in a pincer attack.
*Eradicate multiple foes in one fell swoop with chain attacks.
Characters can be positioned to execute chain attacks with allies. Take advantage of bonus items on the map as well to obliterate your foes!
*Customize characters strategically via jobs and skills.
Characters can undergo three types of job changes. Acquire new skills and combine them to create characters that best fit your play style.
*Experience an expansive game world with hundreds of battle maps and hundreds of friends and foes.
A myriad of richly distinctive and diverse foes will confront you on a variety of battle maps. Prevail against them to gradually unravel the mysteries of this strange new world.

tested out, not bad the concept...although i am not a fan for something like puzzle dragon type but this turns out quite good for me..wondering is it everyone getting the same starter characters? bow + medic + spear?

It could be that you put ur obb wrongly. Make sure it is in android/obb/"thefolder". Inside the folder, the OBB for terra battle should be inside. I managed to fix it on my nexus 4 after putting OBB in the right way.

i suspect u can create the transfer id and save it...as long no other device using that transfer code, it will be still valid since is only can be used once

there are possibility that the transfer id is a check point for your game. Since you can delete the data in ur device and this wipe out all ur data, i would say there is no server save currently like binding to an account or fb etc.

guess have to wait for future update , since if some ppl spend money in it might need guanrantee

if not mistaken currently is just a soft launch from SE side, the world wide launch is around October correct? so i guess there will be more improvement coming in and more features since the game is kinda incomplete with all those typical mobile game feature nowadays have.

As I read, Levitation quite useful later chapters when got fire/trap on ground. I guess can carry through early/mid game. Late game not sure. More of a personal preference if you want to reset or not.

I guess this is more like support unit. Looking for bad ass attacker as a start. Hehe

Yukken's third job skill reads "when Yukken and Rikken are together, monsters that join you are guaranteed to drop items."
It can be interpreted as "if the sisters are attacking/chained/partied together, monsters that are already captured will definitely drop items"

Grrrr.... feel like reseetting cuz the dmg dealt like very low. Btw whats ur party like? I need another warrrior. :( im having healer. 2 spear. 2 archer and one warrrior. The dmg so low :(

Koko quite okay. Need to master how to position characters for maximum damage.

My current setup is as below. 3 bows, 1 spear, 1 sword, 1 healer. Mostly defensive skills and hp stat quite ok, so using only 1 healer for now. Aiming to change job of Yukken first for more balanced team (change bow into sword). Might do a few more pulls hoping for SS healer, Amina or Amimari. Progression at about chapter 10 now. Haven't start hunting materials yet. Gatz's skill, Levitation is surprisingly useful to avoid traps/fire on the ground.
