Starting from friday, my unifi cannot access all streaming website and app. My TV become useless. Unifi not just block streaming apps. P2P software also blocked.

Anyone have the way to unblock it?

I just upgraded my vip5 to vip10. Sign 2 years contract more.
Feel like cheated. Want to change to maxis also can't

My sister using maxis don't have this problem.

Get SKMM involved quick. Don't give a face with the provider. We're paying big amount of money for the service.

We consumer are paying huge amount of monthly fees for terrible services. This problem arise when TM monopoly the major networking backbone in malaysia.

Did you try? I changed to google and open DNS also couldn't access, end up have to use my own Maxis data plan.

I didn't watch videos on China sites but I haven't been able to access Taobao using unifi since last week. Speed was fast when I used phone data from Digi. Tried hidemyass and Google DNS as suggested by others, didn't work at all. Too bad there's no fibre internet in Kuching. My unifi subscription is more expensive than Maxis fibre internet yet I can't even access Taobao. How f***ing ridiculous is that?

I don't think any networks can be trusted. If given the choice, I'd choose prepaid broadband, more flexibility. IMO, any plans that require contracts will almost always find a way to screw with you.

well, for home users it is a known issue connecting to china websites. I have been having this issue for long time already. Sometimes can connect to taobao but sometimes cannot. It will be very slow. This is more like connection issue to china. However, pptv or pps streaming seems to be fine.

Then again, what you said might be true that TM is blocking.

Some isp (tm & jaring) were having issue with their international link. My office is using jaring and we experienced difficulty accessing websites hosted overseas yesterday around 10am. I'm using unifi and experienced the same thing, called unifi customer service and they announced about this issue too.

Official announcement from jaring (couldn't find announcement from TM)

North Asia is affected. Could be due to this?
