Guys after i replaced my faulty byond decoder recently, my HT with tv no longer works

Everytime i want it to work,
1) i have to off the tv (and HT)
2) unplug astro hdmi,
3) On tv
4) plug in astro hdmi

Any idea what else i can do? The HT works fine in all other modes (bluetooth usb radio). Only tv output nothing. All settings has been set to hdmi arc input

check that astro's hdmi cable supports arc,try another cable and set yr beyond sound to 5.1

I have tried multiple hdmi cables as that was my first thought. Im sure the hdmi supports arc because it works if i on the tv first with the astro hdmi unplugged and plug in the hdmi later.

If i on the tv with astro hdmi plugged in, it wont work.

Setting on astro is already on 5:1. Ive exhausted all options on my tv and my astro box. 😞

do u subscribe HD services? If u do then maybe its the box hmm.gif

Yup am subscribing hd. The old box had this probem but probably occasionally only. The new one doesnt work at all. Can this be use as a reason for replacement?

Lastly did u try to change ports, cos in some tvs not all ports are arc. If nothing works well hw sure another box will solve yr issue? hmm.gif

Tried swapping the hdmi to all available ports from the arc port as i read somewhere that its possible the arc port could 'switch'. But no luck also. In fact the sound wouldnt work at all expectedly.

No idea if a new box will help but the problem came after the new box so i assume thats the only thing i havent changed yet
