just changed my decoder from thomson (non-hd) to zapper
nothing is displayed on the zapper. just red and green dot.
now cannot have a quick glance at channel anymore

about the remote, before this using thomson i can practically point anywhere for the decoder to register the input
even pointing the remote in opposite direction, the decoder still manage to register input.
now the zapper need to point directly or slightly off to the decoder for it to register input.

Works fine for me.
I have the Zapper decoder and didn't subscribe HD service. Still can use HDMI to connect to my TV

Software version number is the same.

that's zapper decoder manufactured by samsung.
need some time to get used to it.
but I like the remote which is kinda small from before

tv3 picture quality is a joke. even watching on crt tv
for me rtm and tv alhijrah 118 on certain program has better quality
