Want to ask. I want to edit my astro pack. I'm going to do it online and i know there is a Rm10 penalty when we drop packs. I want to know when does the changes take effect? Is it immmdiately after we edit?

N 1 more thing, when is the best time to change it? Before new bill comes out, near the new bill date or after? Because it will get pro-rated rite? Not gud at maths so dunno when to switch.

Well glad you have adapted to it your summary shows astro doesnt give too much attention to the sports channels placing n slot. Just wished they would reorganise it like Sky did with their sports channel last month.

Remember when byond launched and the standard practice was for example supersport was ch 811 so then you have the HD channel +20 so become 831. Well thats where supersport hd channel was originally n still is there but Supersport changed from 811 to 810..

This is just my opinion la. Maybe they should have something like this. I'm being too picky? Maybe. But would make it much easier to navigate from channel to channel. Again. Just my opinion yea

I'm watching the Keys & Gray show on beIN sports supposedly 'LIVE' on Astro and also the show 'LIVE' on a stream and I can safely say the Astro feed is around 5-10 minutes behind. No wonder people were complaining about a La Liga match being 8 minutes late

Tbh thats why i farking hate the rojak beIN channel on astro..the schedule there ikut mak bapak astro punya suka to switch. And they still get the 5-10 minute delay.

Untungla 4mbps screamyx. My parents place can't even upgrade to 2 mbps!!!

Got my unifi upgraded to 30mbps this week. The time is near for me to say goodbye to astro's sports pack. You raised the price but still serve the same poor content. By the end of this month, astro, u will lose another customer who has been loyal to u all these years.

How may new non-rojak channels was added to astro this year?

Kan? Not a single original channel was added. All rojak and in house channel. How many were dropped?

Should compare with how many new channels our neighbours have got this year.

I will be downgrading my Superpack 1 package this coming week. What is the best way to do this? Thru phone, thru ch200 or by their website?

I want to get it downgraded without any begging from them and i want it to be done immediately. I think i want to do it thu their website. Is it ok? What is the experience of those who have done it before?

Thanks for that. I already plan to downgrade a day or two before my bill date which is on the 27th. N i plan to do it through the self-service. I already played around with it today so think will do it using that.

Surprise surprise!!! Our neighbours getting another new channel at the end of the month while we say goodbye to another channel at the end of the same month..

Tonite is last nite of football on astro for me after so many years. Got my android box n 'other' source sorted yesterday. Waiting for the 26th to cut sports, movie and mustika package. Leave kids n korea channels for my child and wifey only.

Btw, yesterday at the Akademi Fantasia concert live on Ria HD, the two hosts announced to the viewers and audience about Tara HD coming soon. So for me, that's as close as official u can be.

Just want to share my experience dropping packages with astro today.

First of all, u can only drop packages on the phone. Can't do it thru the self-service website or even ch200..so i was on superpack 1. Wanted to drop the sports, movies, mustika and WWE Network packages. Wanted to move to family pack extra, 3 mini packages and wifey wanted korean pack. I also already have multiroom and hd/pvr so wanted to keep that.

Guess what, from superpack1, want to drop packages, your total amount cannot be below rm100..i was like wtf? Since when your total must be Rm101 and above? The cs guy said the system wouldn't allow it. Was it becoz of multiroom? As far as i know, if ur bill is below rm100, u have to pay more than rm50 for ur 2nd decoder. I was baffled. So i took what the cheapes option next was, to take 1 more mini package.

I dont mind that i had to take d extra mini package but seriously wtf u have to keep ur bill above rm100? Anyways, sayonara expensive, low content sports package, repeat and repeat and repeat movie package and mustika too. Astro have lost another sports package subscriber today

Doubt it. Most of the content are already on Supersport channels. If suddenly it is brought in, it may well be another rojak channel. Eleven Sports only in name but content and scheduling like rojak. Just like beIN sports is rite now.

When is Astrojak having their service upgrade again?

Drop package can only be done thru phone

I was on Superpack 1 and wanted to drop sports coz i got a iptv service. But u have to change pack and add in what u want. I dropped sports, movies and mustika and retained the others. U drop sports only, the difference to ur bill is minimal

Wait. That astro fiesta ad is from 2012. So what's the new one?

Hahaha..i just realised i pissed off astro. At the end of July, i applied to redeem the astro points in the form of RM35 worth of bill rebates. This past month, i drop my packages that made my bill from rm218 to rm 162..so supposed to pay rm172 this month becoz got that rm10 penalty for dropping package.

Suddenly wanted to pay bill today, check the bill, walllaaa that rm35 rebate i mentioned earlier, takes effect in this bill! So not only have i drop my packages, i also get rebate this month! They couldnt even squeeze that extra rm10 out of me this month!

If not becoz of my lil kid n wife, astro wouldnt get a single sen of me anymore but what to do. For family, still have to use la.

N for those saying tm have a chance to takeover astro, not in a million years. My parents are living in Skudai, outskirts of jb, old taman but very populated, neighbouring UTM too but best TM can give them is 2mbps streamyx. If it had unifi, or even 8mb streamyx, they surely potong their astrojak too n i'd get them something better. TM and astrojak are just sleeping buddies.
