hello, my house's astro are pvr and beyond on superpack 1. after my father passed away, my mother is  paying the bill right now. Is anyone know whether it is possible to reduce the bill by potong the sports channels but want to keep all the other channels?

one more thing. my house has an event next week. so i want to clear the living room where the astro is right now so that we can have more space. can i just unplugged all the wires/cable that connect the decoder to the satellite dish then reconnect it back later? do the decoder need to be set again after being unplugged from the cable?

You can change package but it will definitely incur a charge of RM10 for change of package. I'm not too sure if there's a penalty for package downgrade or not.

Usually there are separate BPL TV rights divided into areas. So, unless Astro lost the rights for South East Asia, then perhaps there'll be problem.

Astro announced that there will be a new Chinese HD channel coming to NJOI platform. Astro Xi Yue HD will be made available to Astro users too at CH. 300.

This means every NJOI decoder has to be HDMI-enabled.

If want to terminate astro, do we need to return the equipments? No more contract by the way.

I don't think so. It might be useful to convert to NJOI one.

I guess it makes sense, as it would be troublesome to dismantle the satellite dish, and bringing all equipment to the Astro Centre.

haha the dish yall can keep as souvenir thank you astro 4 the 10 years services with me...i just cut after no time watching and bill suddenly racked up RM150 from RM50 in 2005  

You terminate your Astro already?

LOL recently I contacted Astro on my contract date.
Was told that it has passed already i.e. can terminate without incurring penalty.

Lo and behold, Astro was feeling extra nice to me.
They said, oh btw, don't you terminate just yet.

We are going to extend your contract by 6-months, out of which 3months fee waiver!
i.e. pay for three months, for a 6-month contract!
