sad that all astro select channel have been ceased transmission.. hope astro will get the WETV, SENTANTA, COMEDY CENTRAL and all HBO channels...
in other news, i believe that there is new channel called WWE NETWORK in 15 May.. but i believe its ala carte with a discount for sport pack subscriber..

come on... mad.gif
there enough of repetition program already, now you want to add in-house channel like RIA HD when there is MAYA HD?
i rather give RTM/MEDIA PRIMA/AL HIJRAH spot in HD channel line up in astro..
if i be person in charge, i would go to these channel, and tell them to transmit their HD channel under astro before "tv digital" arrived.
i don't understand what is astro doing... shakehead.gif
bad management i guess vmad.gif

I live on the condo above kl festival city mall. any suggestions for subscribing astro?
special offer? better rates etc etc? rather than me normally calling them for subscription?
I am trying to get the best value.
*
i dont think so...
still need to call them or ask your condo management if can install satellite dish?
better yet, ask them about what internet they support. if you can get fiber, better go alternative like astro..

Hi guys,

Is there much reason why Astro still want to keep HD and no HD channel running together? Like Fox and Fox HD or Arena and Arena HD. Why not for stay with HD just one and remove the SD? Or better convert all channel which don't have HD yet to HD also? I think the broadcast satellite still can handle the bandwidth right?
*
they cant...
some people subscribe astro with non HD

The main issue is majority of astro customers still using the old silver decoder.
Heck, ASTRO still sell refurbished or new silver decoder for NJOI customers.
*
still i don't think its entirely astro fault
i think the installer themselves want to make quick bucks..

guys, i was back from Book fair @ KLCC

so i have sign a contract Astro broadband [Maxis fiber] RM 156.88..
It will be having free NJO1 Channel, which means totally free on few channel...
but in the agreement there, the person in charge tick on the Family package...
which need add on RM42.35 per month...

I was told that it can be downgrade within 48 hours once activation of Maxis fiber and Astro IPTV

So...is that is true? or should i contact Astro for more information???
*
i think you need clarify this with astro.
i think there is minimum contract period before you can change it to njoi.
especially with iptv.

SETANTA SPORTS HD (launching same time as WWE Network) priced at RM10.60 (add-on) while non-sports pack customers can subscribe at RM53.00 (Price inclusive of GST). wink.gif

SP+ bundles it, i guess.
