Hi,

Any one of you had facing the PVR 2 Tuner Cabling issues? I heard most of the Astro PVR subscriber had to install 2 new cables from the new satellite which cater for the Watching + Recording simultaneously features. The problem is most of the house owner had conceal their Astro Cable in the wall and reinstallation new 2 cable service from Astro contractor only do Run On the Surface (which not included conceal). Wondering how you all resolve this? I heard some said can install some device to retain old cable usage but Astro said it won't give you best quality of pictures due to cable sharing.

Hope some one who face this before can throw me some lights how you guys overcome this problem. Thanks.

hi bro, this has been solved by using a new single cable LNB SCR Unicable solution (so can use existing single concealed cables back) for PVR recorder

Yes. PVR decoder will display the channel to you only if you connect 2 cables on both Tuners, using the normal Universal LNB.

There's a solution by using 1 cable, and that is using SatCR LNB. Signal strength and quality remains the same, picture quality is unaffected, so don't worry about it. You got to tell Astro if you want this LNB, and it cost RM53 (incl. GST) for that.

If you want to auto update to latest version, put your decoder into standby mode and it will update by itself.

I hope the new upgrade is price package and bug fix on PVR stb. Hmm eGG PLUS SD channel in 16:9 quality but yeah still crappy as usual

This decoder one this stb also same designe by Transvision Indonesia satelite pay tv. Why la don't give with new one that have timing on LED number

Jayatv HD is just a logo and a upscaled version,there is NO real HD,asstro did not allow suntv HD,which has real HD content, so Jayatv HD is out of question!

Astro should cease transmission of HITS HD(CH720) instead The channel keep showing old good program but the show already late in 1980-1990 series and repeat back

Astro what good? Only some genre. Astro don't even have atleast one music video HD channel. Some chinese show on theyy in-house channel.

With more ads Astro should reduce the price. Nothing good HD channel to offer. Better just be Astro one time payment and watch what you want with more ads after 5-10 minute show/drama
