The most arrogant corporation in malaysia which does not even hv brains to provide Toll free Lines,the onlcy company which made millions out of just monopoly! Now good to hear their end is near! Good to hear many customers hv cut packages and they are losing customers who hv taken other alternatives,Mytv will kill njoi and I want to see them struggle to remain relevant with their handful EPL fans Even maxis deal with them turned sour now next wll be hyppotv, when u watch certain astro channels on Hyppo there wl be frequent blank screens with words copyright !

Mine cut to VP dy and still itching to cut it off, and since no more contracts the itch keeps coming their pricing compared to compiled, malaysianised channel line up is NOT money worth

So singtel fell for those assto In house channels! As far Indian entertainment is concerned nobody can touch vasantham,they screen brand new movies while the monkeys here sell it on after 2 months on 241 then recycle it on 202 and now exporting to singapore! Hope u wont recieve blank screen with the word copyright for some movies

Smileguy - I dun really understand Tamil, so the astro Vinmeen does not really increase my viewing options .... Hahaha ...but I suspect Singtel offered it as its the only Tamil HD ch available in South East Asia ....

Bro Vinmeen/ is a compiled channel with most programming from another south Indian channel and In house variety in HD.Its basically a flop.However it is NOT free its added into another pack and sold here ! SunTv and Sun Music are in HD but not on asstro cos then Vinmeen HD will die! Singtel meant business but singaporeans/Indians may not appreciate or value asstro's In House cos they are simply BORING. I wonder whatever happened to the plan to carry mediacorp channels on astro,if that happens asstro wl lose its local market further here.Vasantham alone wl kill the relevance of all astro In House Indian channels

Thanks for the background on Vinmeen...haha .....but the feed on Singtel is a SG feed programmed by astro separately, some of the programs in the daily schedules are different fr the astro Malaysia Concern. Vinmeen over here has English programs. LOL. Similarly, astro ria SD and astro Prima SD.

As for mediacorp channels, unlikely they will be carried in astro as mediacorp only bought SG program rights for the programs on the respective chs.

Discovery does.not seem to be on basic tier on Singtel, likely charge as a add on pack. Attached for those interested. Cheers.
